E-Learning is one of the most active fields of research and practice in Europe, in all the education and training sectors. The use of new and innovative technologies for learning is raising enormous expectation and motivation between researchers, teachers, students and other education stakeholders.
The European Conference on e-Learning (ECEL) is an annual event that has been at the forefront of this revolution. It brings together groups of people in a variety of areas related to e-Learning seeking to combine cutting-edge research with practical, real-life applications, in order to advance the state of e-Learning around Europe.
To achieve this goal, we are inviting researchers and practitioners to present their research findings and new ideas, and practitioners to demonstrate actual products. ECEL 2010 will take place in Porto, Portugal and will profit from the excellent relations of this country with Latin America and Africa to create the conditions to cross the European experience in e-learning with the e-learning research and practice that has been growing very fast in those continents.

Bringing Global Quality to a Local Context’is the theme chosen for the 3rd Annual
Forum on e-Learning Excellence in the Middle East 2010. This theme reflects the
important changes of scale and scope of our institution that evolved from eTQM college
to Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University in February 2009.
The local contextualisation of global quality relies on the human capacity to think
globally but act locally, to help overcome limited scale, bounded thinking. The
tension between global standards and local expectations calls for new powerful tools
and conceptual instruments to enhance online learning, to measure its effectiveness,
to improve the design of learning materials and to integrate the evolving role the
teacher, now a facilitator rather than a person who holds the knowledge. Beyond
traditional educational management, it also calls for specific accreditation, quality
frameworks and policies. And last but not least, it calls for innovative pedagogies
and methodologies to support just-in-time, on-the-job, lifelong learning.
The focus of the 3rd edition of the forum will be on systemic approaches of networked
education and training, where every region and culture is keen to participate in
the construction of the knowledge society and economy according to global quality
standards, while preserving its own specifity, identity and values.
The last decade has seen a significant expansion in eLearning adoption for education and training in Australia. However, the industry is currently in an adjustment curve where corporate demands and the economic forecast put a lot of pressure on learning and development in general, and eLearning in particular.
Presently eLearning professionals are therefore looking for ways to demonstrate the ROI of eLearning systems, reduce production times and costs through designing efficient rapid eLearning programs and optimise the use and integration of emerging eLearning tools, products and resources.
Organisations are also exploring ways to create online learning communities that are engage learners in the transferral of knowledge across.
This two-day connected forum will provide you with opportunities to hear timely and practical eLearning case studies. You’ll be armed with techniques to:
Prove the ROI and overcome organisational resistance to adoption of eLearning
Develop and implement effective rapid eLearning courses
Integrate your eLearning system into your organisational infrastructure
Select the technological solution that fits your needs and is value for money
Create effective, appealing and engaging training programs to achieve organisational performance enhancement Utilise the full potential of emerging learning technologies
The
IADIS Mobile Learning International Conference seeks to provide a
forum for the presentation and discussion of mobile learning research
which provides a retrospective outlook of the field. We seek
contributions under several topics which illustrate developments in the
field. Topics

CSEDU (the International Conference on Computer Supported
Education) aims at becoming a yearly meeting place for presenting and
discussing new educational environments, best practices and case
studies on innovative technology-based learning strategies,
institutional policies on computer supported education including open
and distance education, using computers. In particular, the Web is
currently a preferred medium for distance learning and the learning
practice in this context is usually referred to as e-learning.
CSEDU is expected to give an overview of the state of the art as
well as upcoming trends, and to promote discussion about the
pedagogical potential of new learning and educational technologies in
the academic and corporate world.
Each of these topic areas is expanded below but
the sub-topics list is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more
of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by
them. Unlisted but related sub-topics are also acceptable, provided
they fit in one of the following main topic areas:
Information Technologies Supporting Learning
Learning/Teaching Methodologies and Assessment
Social Context and Learning Environments
Domain Applications and Case Studies
Quality, Evaluation and Accreditation Policies
Registration to CSEDU allows free access to the WEBIST conference.
Learning, which originates in a desire for knowledge, has always been fundamental in the shaping of social life. It has lost nothing of its importance with developments in technology. Under the influence of Information Technology (IT), learning has acquired new dimensions, discussed quite regularly on many levels. The aim of this conference is to discuss future innovations in the field of learning. The conference will encourage a debate on strategies for the development of the most effective methods, strategies, techniques, and technologies that will serve humankind in the lifelong learning process. Human beings are, after all, centrally involved in learning, and its fundamental raison d`être. "E-learning", which in itself is an innovation, promises to acquire even greater importance in the future. We are therefore calling for contributions (research papers and posters) focusing on "e-learning", and examining the following issues through original research and exploration.

In 2003, in Poitiers during the first international ePortfolio
conference, EIfEL set the goal that by 2010 every citizen should have
access to an ePortfolio. How effective have we been and far are we from
that goal? Should it be postponed to a further deadline or should we
set a new one, e.g. on digital identity? To find the answers to these
questions and more, join us at Learning Forum London, 5-7 July 2010, at
the Savoy Place. The event will feature ePortfolio 2010, the 8th
international ePortfolio conference, with a special track on healthcare
as well as Key Competencies 2010, the 4th international conference on
skills for life.
The 7th international ePortfolio, is organised in conjunction with two
other conferences: Key Competencies—Skills for Life and Learning
Networks and Communities. Develop relationships with professionals and
developers who are evaluating and recommending technology decisions for
their organisations. This event can also help you reach your marketing
goals. Past sponsors and exhibitors reported that they were very
pleased with how well the Conference generated leads and awareness for
their services and products.
Educational IT Solutions Expo is Asia s leading educational trade show where every kind of innovative contents/technologies/services for schools gathers under one roof.
For University, College, Primary School, Secondary School, Education Commission, Local Authority, Preparatory Schools, Academy, Technical College, Educational Institution, Library, etc.
The International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL) brings together academic research and practical applications of e-Learning from all areas. ICEL brings together varied groups of people with different perspectives, seeking to bring top research and proven best practices together into one location, for the purposes of helping practitioners find ways to put research into practice, and for researchers to gain an understanding of additional real-world problems.
