2nd East Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress 2010

Following on from the success of the 1st EMEC in Luxor, the 2nd EMEC presents a valuable opportunity to
exchange knowledge and discuss, amongst clinicians, researchers and all those who share an interest in epilepsy,
issues central to the treatment and care of people with epilepsy. Our diverse Scientifc Programme will include
a course entitled Controversies in Epilepsy , in which issues of clinical relevance with no clear guidelines will be
discussed. In addition, the main topics of the programme include Monitoring of Antiepileptic Drugs , Epileptic
Encephalopathies , Refex Epilepsy and Epilepsy in East Mediterranean Countries . A special session devoted to
video EEG and a variety of seizure types will also be included.
