Expo Estádio was successfully launched in 2009 with approximately 100
exhibitors from 15 countries. The event fills a niche that was
previously lacking, by providing suppliers for the sports infrastructure
market with a platform to address stadiums and sports venues. Expo
Estádio is unique in the market in that it focuses purely on the sports
infrastructure and equipment. Brazil is undoubtedly the country with the biggest chances for companies in the sports infrastructure industry for the coming years. As host of the Military World Games 2011, the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Olympic Games, investments in construction, technology and equipment for sports facilities will be enormous.
Following a turbulent 2009, wherein many postponed investments, the projections for Brazil for 2010 look better than ever.
