IEEE International Carnahan Conference on Security Technology (ICCST 2010)

October 12 - 15, 2010(Ended)
San Francisco, CA, United States
IEEE International Carnahan Conference on Security Technology (ICCST 2010)The ICCST is directed toward the research and development aspects of electronic security technology, including the operational testing of the technology.  It establishes a forum for the exchange of ideas and dissemination of information on both new and existing technology. Conference participants are stimulated to consider the impact of their work on society. The Conference is an interchange of knowledge through the presentation of learned papers that have been selected by the ICCST organizing committee. It is where engineers, physicists, scientists, security professionals and social scientists share with each other the results of their research and development on crime countermeasures. The Carnahan Conference also provides a basis for long range support and assistance to authorities and agencies responsible for security, safety and law enforcement in the use of available and future technology. A conscientious effort will be made to communicate the significance of developments to other interested groups. Liaison is maintained with professional societies and information media not especially related to engineering.
The ICCST has existed for longer than any other conference, anywhere in the world, on this subject. In addition, it has
continuously documented the advances in security technology through its proceedings, published since the 1968 conference.
