Connecting the Critical Links in Service Member and Family CareThose within the healthcare community, from medics and surgeons to therapists and records managers, have told us that they want and need an opportunity to share and exchange ideas. In addition to the sharing and exchanging of ideas, field professionals want to gain insight on best practices from their peers in an environment that facilitates open dialogue. IDGA’s, “Battlefield Healthcare” conferences have successfully provided these opportunities in the regional conference format; however, the scope and pace of operations has created the need for a new, large-scale, national forum aimed at bringing together a critical mass of practitioners to share and benchmark important developments.
With these rapid changes occurring in almost every discipline, and at almost every level of care, the individual practitioner has not been able to keep pace with the comprehensive spectrum of care. Caregivers have told us that they desire a more current picture of the overall processes that are occurring several steps before and after their care is given. Military Healthcare Convention and Conference’s sole purpose is to provide field professionals with the resources and the insight required to be a leading member of the medical community.
