This seminar will look at how the sexual diversity of 21st century Britain is reflected in its media. Timed to coincide with the release of the BBC`s consultation on its portrayal of LGBT audiences, this seminar will discuss the representation of the community across TV, radio, press and online, the employment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the media and examine the opportunities for investment and advertising presented by a vibrant and growing LGBT market in the UK.
