On behalf of the UC San Diego School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, it is our privilege to invite you to participate in the Topics and Advances in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine postgraduate courses. These courses have a history of being presented to a large audience every year and in the past decade we have consistently had over 400 attendees. Since many attendees participate every year, the program always consists of all new material. Topics and Advances in Internal Medicine is divided into two three-day sessions and you may enroll in one session or both. Optional workshops are presented on Sunday to allow participants the opportunity to explore a topic in detail. Or, you can choose to take the day off and enjoy San Diego. This program will feature presentations of the latest information in virtually every area of medicine. The program is divided into sessions that focus on Health Maintenance/Lifestyle Issues, General Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Women s Health, Hospitalist Program, Neurology, Electronic Records, Humanities in Medicine, Dermatology, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Hematology, Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine, and Psychiatry.
