Just as networks are the backbone of modern communication, the operations support system, including billing and customer care functions, are the backbone of the communication service provider. A billing system along with a customer relationship management (CRM) solution provides telecom operators with a user-friendly interface for creating accounts, services, products and packages. Besides, the account information, product/service details, payment, adjustments, call rating details and invoices are all stored in the billing system, and making it accessible online can provide instant information to customers.
Churn management is another factor that has a huge bearing on an operator`s business. A billing solution is directly linked with overall customer satisfaction. The information captured by the billing system provides statistics on abnormal usage. This information is in turn used by the operator to effectively reduce churn.
Billing & Customer Care India 2010 is trying to deal with two major subjects which service providers today are laying extra emphasis on. One is a revenue generator and the other helps collect the revenue generated by improving the customer experience and helping the service provider make additional revenue by giving the subscriber a virtual home experience.
The conference will highlight the trends in next-generation billing and Customer Care. It will help to identify the major challenges facing monetization of content and help elucidate how the global trends are affecting billing processes. It will also provide insights into how billing must change as various networks are integrated, regulatory rules change and companies reinvent themselves. It will also offer the prime opportunity to learn Customer Care Standards & Strategies. The challenge for all operators in today`s market is to capture and retain inbound traffic, ensure quality and reduce costs of outbound traffic, and maximize benefits of Customer Care services. How to deliver great customer service through best practices in Collecting, Analysing, and Tracking Customer Feedback & Latest Customer Care Service Technologies.

Downlink peak rates of at least 100Mbit/s, uplink rates of 50 Mbit/s and RAN (Radio Access Network) round-trip times of less than 10ms is what Long-Term Evolution or the LTE targets in the near future for telecommunication world give the subscribers truly seamless communications. LTE a wireless broadband technology which is designed to provide an extraordinary user experience and easiest of technology for next generation mobile broadband is posing a serious threat to WiMax and the 3G services, which is gaining its ground slowly and gradually in India.
In a past decade wireless industry has seen a explosion in the demand for both voice and data services with the growth in number of mobile telephone subscribers as well as the usage rate. Long Term Evolution (LTE) will be strongly emerge as the next generation wireless technology that will lead the growth of mobile broadband services into the next level. Its adoption by service providers around the world has the potential to generate economies of scale unprecedented by any previous generation of wireless networking technology as it becomes the universal 4G mobile platform used by both GSM/HSPA and CDMA/EVDO service providers.
Operators are thus presented with a choice of technologies to provide their customers with wireless broadband services. This will allow them either to compete with fixed operators or to provide broadband services in areas where the fixed infrastructure does not exist and would be too expensive to deploy. Here, LTE offers compelling attractions for incumbent UMTS/HSPA operators such as the ability to re-use significant portions of their existing infrastructure, together with re-use of existing spectrum assets. While LTE looks firmly to the future, it does so with a Return of Investment (ROI) approach. As a result, LTE will allow operators to generate fresh sources of value from their existing network investments while enjoying the significant economies of scale that flow from participation in the world`s biggest and most successful family of evolving cellular system.
The conference will provide an update on the mobile broadband, current capabilities, the eco-system, drivers and directions for future evolution to the next generation/LTE and beyond. It will also discuss services and applications, business models, and challenges including solving spectrum needs for capacity and coverage requirements.
At this exclusive conference on Long Term Evolution (LTE), it will provide a useful & powerful forum for your organisation to discuss:
Why LTE when Broadband commodity is rapidly becoming commoditized?
Future of LTE in India where 3G is also moving towards progress at a snail`s pace.

With the increased size and complexity of e-business applications and products, e-business products are often no longer produced or created by an individual or even a single entrepreneur. Instead, e-business applications and products are now commonly produced by different developers using diverse practices. Therefore the meaning of those applications in e-business are contributed by the organisations and the individuals who are participating in e-business. In order to apply more and more meaning to e-business and enterprise computing and thereby minimising the complexity of e-business and enterprise computing, it is beneficial for those working in the field to standardize e- business applications. By developing e-business and enterprise computing products using semantic techniques, e-business entrepreneurs are finding solutions to these problems and attempting to enhance the meaning of online business and thus reducing the risks of online business, and also reduces the time of enterprise computing applications developments

Welcome to the website of the international conference on infrastructure systems 2009: Developing 21st Century Infrastructure Networks. The conference is sponsored by the Next Generations Infrastructures Foundation, Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) and SSN College of Engineering.
Conference scope
Infrastructures provide essential functions for economy and society such as transportation, water, communication and energy. While each of these sectors has their own specific characteristics, they have much in common: their adequate operation depends on the effectiveness and interplay of complex physical and institutional or actor networks.
All sectors undergo institutional change, moving from state owned and controlled utilities to conglomerates of unbundled and privatized private companies, operating at increasingly larger and more international scales. Sectors converge and mutual dependencies increase, along both the technological and the institutional dimension. Technological change provides new opportunities as well as threats. Key concerns include reliability, security, affordability and sustainability.
The complexity of the infrastructure systems requires scientists of different disciplines to join forces to develop and test theories, models and tools to ensure that the infrastructures of the future will function at their full potential. While many other meetings are sector-specific and narrow in focus, this conference offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gaps across disciplines and sectors, and to build cross-cutting networks to effectively steer infrastructure developments towards a more sustainable and secure future.

The world economy is entering a major downturn in the face of the most dangerous financial shock in mature financial markets since the 1990s. This is because financial conditions are expected to remain very difficult, even the actions by the U.S. and European authorities not succeed in stabilizing financial conditions and in avoiding further systemic collapse of their economies.
In advanced countries, the crisis is now being driven by a downward spiral of loss of confidence and trust. The effects are spreading to consumers and firms, which had so far weathered the recent price hikes in oil and commodities well but we were now experiencing sharply slowing demand. However, despite the emerging economies` cooling momentum, industries are still expecting to provide a source of resilience, benefiting from strong productivity growth and improved policy frameworks. But the longer the financial crisis lasts, the more the emerging economies` growth is likely to be affected. Keeping this impetus, academicians, policy makers , corporate executives and research scholars are requested to write papers and to participate in the International Conference on International Trade and Commerce which is scheduled 9 - 12th January 2010 at University - Industry hub, organized at Hyderabad, India by the Department of Commerce, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.

Globalization has brought about many changes in the
landscape of business and non-business organizations across the world.
Arguments are still persistent about the positive and negative effects
about such changes across. One such effects is the economic slow-down
that has effected the manufacturing and services very severely. Higher
education is no exception. Cost optimization and rigorous checks on the
performance of every system and process in such institutions is being
clamored for by the management of such educational institutions today.
On the contrary, the standard models of performance management systems
in such institutions is sparse, creating the need for a common platform
which could provide opportunity for such management representatives to
come together, ponder over and prepare with customized models for their
respective institutions. Encouraged by such trend, a two day
international seminar on performance management systems in academic
institutions is being organized. This seminar encourages administrators
and academicians from various institutions of higher learning from
India and abroad to participate, present and prepare on the models of
performance management for their institutions. Besides presentations,
there will be panel discussions held by senior and experienced
administrators and academicians, associated with the Government, Apex
agencies of education, during the two days.
