Actually he lives and works in Shanghai and he has spent almost 8 years in China, working for international art galleries and advising private collectors about the new trends of contemporary art market worldwide and in China particularly. Mr. Mologni is already working in his new position and is already developing new collaborations with Chinese and international art galleries, promoting their participation to the next Fair. He is also co-founder and co-director of Boulow, a private club for art collectors in Shanghai.

Previously, Mr. Mologni gained international experience in New York and Milan, working also closely with international and Italian galleries, auction houses and private art foundations. “I am honored to have been chosen to serve as the new director of BolognaFiere SH Contemporary,” Mr. Mologni said. “I believe SH Contemporary has a bright future in China. Mainland collectors are becoming stronger and stronger and now Shanghai is ready to take up this challenge. More and more international museums, auction houses and art galleries are opening their offices in Shanghai which makes me believe we are close to a turning point in the way people perceive contemporary art.”

“I want to give the city of Shanghai the opportunity to gather all the leading players of the art world: gallerists, artists, curators, auction houses, collectors, museums directors, etc. This is what an art fair needs to be: a hub for art lovers. Shanghai is the cluster of the Chinese creativity industry (art/design/fashion/etc) and therefore the most suitable place to attract international collectors as well as Chinese collectors,” Mr. Mologni added.

Mr. Campagnoli, annoucing the nomination of the New Fair Director, has said: "We are very satisfied with the work done in these last few months to relaunch our Exhibition SH Contemporary, now called BolognaFiere Shanghai Contemporary Art and which, after the important editions held from 2007 to today in Shanghai, will bring once more in China from 2014 the knowledge and the success BolognaFiere boasts in this field, organizing in Bologna/Italy Arte Fiera, the leading Italian Contemporary Art Fair and one of the leading in Europe, since more than thirty years. We are also proud to have reached a new collaboration agreement with such an authoritative and powerful organization to re-launch together our Shanghai exhibition.”
