Location, ambiance, accessibility, security, comfortable beds, spacious rooms.
This hotel was perfect four our group of 10 which included ages from 9 to 78! We brought out parents along with our family! We booked the quadruple rooms and it was perfect! Rooms were very spacious and the sofa bed was fully equipped with all bedding needs. Despite of being located just steps away from time square the noise was not an issue at all to sleep well. Breakfast is an express to go pre-packed; however, it was a great incentive for our group. And one day my parents opted to upgrade to a seated breakfast and they only had to pay $6 each instead of $20 each!
Cristina was great and extremely helpful making out checking in very easily and pleasant, felt very welcomed.

AMAZING City! So much to see and do. Great happy hour deals.
AMAZING City! So much to see and do. Great happy hour deals. Beautiful landscapes. Tours are awesome and so many to choose from. Public transport is very easy. Can be dirty in some areas. The big negative would be the service. Terrible. Difficult to pay tips when the service is just so bad. Not sure why this is but it is widespread across most face to face roles.

New York is busy but a nice weekend trip to enjoy a play and great food and drinks. If you don't like crowds and city life don't visit NYC. Be prepared for long walks to get around because the traffic is horrendous.

New York is a great place to vacation if you like to walk, sightsee and experience diversity. There is something for everyone. I would highly recommend the 9/11 memorial and surrounding areas, Gotham Comedy Club, BlueHaven Bar and Grill and staying in the Financial District where it is nice and quiet at night.

New York offers to many different and interesting places,...
New York offers to many different and interesting places, so is hard to single off any of them. To my opinion the best way to see and enjoy New York city is to take Hop on hop off for five days and gradually visit district by district of the city by foot. In each district it is easy to find good restaurant so that you can stay as much as need in certain place depending upon the thing you wont to see. Everything what is needed to be seen in Midtown is within walking distance. In that way, bearing in mind the plan made in advance, it is possible for a relatively short time (9 days, 10 nights) to visit and enjoy the center of the world - Times Square, the main buildings, the view from the skyscrapers, Central park, Brooklyn bridge, Greenwich village, the High Line, Statue of Liberty, Museums, Memorial Center, Night Tour, etc... However the special experience is attending performances at the Metropoliten opera and Broadway theater.
Millennium Broadway Times
Square Thank you for an amazing stay! You ensured that our New York City experience was extraordinary. The hotel was in the perfect location, and super close in walking distances to the Broadway Shows, Excellent Restaurants, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Shopping, Subways, and so much more! The double occupancy room was very roomy and extremely clean. We highly recommend the Millennium Broadway Hotel -Times Square and will consider staying in the future when we return to the city!
The location was great just a couple of blocks away from Penn Station and near Times Square and some good food options. It's also near the convention center and Hudson Yards so it's very convenient if you come into Manhattan via megabus. The staff was very friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also, the unlimited bottled water came in very handy for treks around the city and it was one less thing to worry about. They also have pineapple infused water and coffee in the lobby and some cookies :)
We had very nice stay, the hotel is clean and well located, you can reach Times square, Rockefeller center, Bryan park etc by walking. The room was a bit small but it had everything you can need. (the bathroom is not well isolated, and its separated just by sliding doors, just to keep in mind if sharing the room with not a close person). Breakfast was nice, personally i would prefer a bit more vegetables, but it was okay. In general we had a great stay during holiday season in the center of Manhattan.
The location is perfect for us since we take a train to Penn Station. It is also within walking distance of most Broadway Theaters, which are always on our agenda . Our room was just as advertised, queen bed ,attractive and clean , with a great view. We have stayed at the New Yorker twice, and were pleased with both visits. We particularly enjoy the 24 hour coffeeshop downstairs, Tick Tock, for breakfast. The price was not cheap, but reasonable for New York City.
I have stayed already in several hotels in NYC through the years and I can easily say that this one is the best.. not only the cheapest regarding the price.. but the most confortable (with modern design and furniture) very clean (never saw this level of cleanliness in NYC) and well located. Staff is very nice (we asked for a room on top floors and got it) and always ready to assist (not the case in most Manhattan), spacious room, a big gym.. we had the best time!
Location is perfect for everything NYC & Manhattan had to offer. Most major attractions are within easy walking distance. The Subway network is great for anything further afield & with contactless payment meant no time trying to work out what ticket you needed for what at a machine, you just paid once on entry for each journey.
Local restaurants & diners away from the Times Square are generally cheaper and more 'authentic'
This hotel was very central to all we wanted to do in NYC. Check-in was easy, the room was fine as expected (very bare and minimal as expected) and the process was easy. I wanted a cheap, budget friendly, no frills place to stay, and this was perfect for it. Awesome location, affordable, and had just what you needed and nothing more (or fancy). You're in NYC, no need for a super nice hotel, get out and enjoy the city!
The location can't be beat. If you want to be near Times Square or the theater district, this is where you want to be. The room was a decent size for New York City and the staff was always very helpful. Breakfast was included in the price - the Grab and Go was handy but for $5 - the french toast in the cafe was definitely worth it.
This hotel is well located in Midtown Manhattan, close to the E Subway line. It is easy walking distance to many of NY city sights including St. Patricks Cathedral, Rockefeller Centre, Times Square. The room was spacious with 2 good sized double beds, ideal for a family of four. Staff were very friendly and hotel was very clean.
I was 1 block away from Times Square, which I usually try to avoid, but once I got in from the hustle and bustle of the city- Riu was a VERY nice hotel. Staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and the space felt rather spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Manhattan. A good value overall.
Excellent location, entering from the busy Times Square street it was immediately quiet and like stepping in another world. Room was spacious and had two beds for me and my friend. Staff was welcoming. Booked it last minute after another hotel cancelled, so this hotel saved me and was actually cheaper!
Decent hotel in a great location if you love to be in downtown New York City. While Canal Street can be a little iffy, this location is on the cleaner end, right below Soho's West Broadway, and next to Tribeca. And the price beats many of the cooler hotels in the area, if you're on a budget.
AMAZING LOCATION!! Everyone says stay near time square but Times square is gross and way over priced! This was cheaper and so central to everything. All the staff were lovely as well. A previous hotel had double charged me and these guys were super helpful in getting my money back
Great location. Times Square is across the street from the hotel. Best Manhattan attractions are within walking distance. There is subway nearby - lines in different directions.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable.
Location of the hotel is Superb - it's really close to the Times Square and all other main Manhattan locations. Also, there is a rooftop bar, where you can enjoy the NYC evening view. We also got 2 free drinks at the lobby bar, which was a nice addition.
Clean and spacious rooms, friendly and professional hotel staff. Nice 22nd floor terrace with a place to sit. Great location for Manhattan sightseeing - walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Building, MSG, Broadway theatres, 5th Avenue.
The hotel is located right between Times Square and Hudson Yards; all the big touristy locations in midtown are walkable. It is super easy to access other parts of the city with the metro. Breakfast was ok, some parties, fruits, yogurts etc.
We love this hotel. This is the second time we’ve stayed and I would definitely stay again the next time I’m in New York City. The location is fabulous, the rooms are clean, and I just love the restaurants and everything about the area.
The location is right at Times Square in Midtown Manhattan. But the hotel itself is very old school. No facilities that modern hotels have. Bond45 & Friedmans are the bar & restaurant which are fairly good.
