FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Ellis Island BBQ is amazing if your like BBQ pork ribs or chicken. That's all they do and it's amazing. Meals come with bread, corn on the cob and coleslaw. 21 something a plate and worth it. Ramen-Ya and Duck Doughnuts strip mall was worth a visit. Food was great and cheap.

If you're visiting Vegas, make sure to stop by Fremont Street. There's no other place like it. Plenty of food (and drink) options there, a bit pricey but not as high as on the Strip. The safest and most tourist-friendly places to visit are the Strip, Fremont St, Fremont East and the Arts District.

I was glad I could stay here with my pet.

I was glad I could stay here with my pet. The property grounds are nice and well-kept, but I didn't see any security patrolling the grounds. There seemed to be people hanging out in the parking lots living in their vehicles, and I didn't feel safe outside especially at night when I would have to take my dog out to use the restroom. The lady at the front desk was very nice when she checked me in and the lady working at the restaurant was very friendly and helped me order a breakfast sandwich. I don't understand why they did not allow anyone to use the large pool during the week. They do have 2 other pools but the one only for weekends seemed to be much nicer. I did go gamble at several casinos, and I guess I am only a depositor so someone else can win the big pay outs. I couldn't even win $5 it was ridiculous. This visit was a total disappointment!

Stayed at Southpoint for two days, never left so you would have to venture out to find out. Although, we have been all over Las Vegas for years, it has gotten really expensive and some parts like downtown, really disgusting. Not for kids at all unless you stay at a kid oriented place and not go to far from that. Overall, we usually have fun there and would do back.

    Not for me!

Not for me! I wanted to see real Las Vegas but all roads and bus passes lead to the strip. The Deuce and the monorail all were challenging and must go through a LOT of each casino you were near. I felt manipulated by the town but saw on local news places to go like the (seems weird but important) Atomic Museum. We don't all don't have travel agents to point out all of the sites that aren't full-on tourist traps but it was good to see once.

This hotel has to be seen to be believed. It's huge and there's so much to explore. We loved visiting the Venetian landmarks like St Mark's square and the Doge's palace! We had the most basic room and it was luxurious and made for a really nice stay. If you're happy to eat at random times, you can make the most of happy hour deals. We had some of the best food for much cheaper than we were expecting to pay. We loved having a breakfast burrito at Canonita's and aperitifs at Brera.

Fantastic location in centre of the Las Vegas strip, close to attractions and monorail, yet slightly off the main boulevard so it's not too noisy. Great value compared to other hotels. Room was very big and comfortable. Loved the shower pressure and spacious bathroom. Staff are friendly and doing their utmost best with the huge volume of guests. Bell desk service was great. We had a late night arrival into Las Vegas and did not want to stay on the strip. This location was perfect for us, it was close to the highway, but far enough away that you did not hear traffic all night long. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable and had shopping close by to stock up on supplies for our 2 week trip to the national parks.

We we're looking for a place to conveniently stay the night while passing through Las Vegas, not for the entertainment of "The Strip". Getting from car to room was quick--not a major hike like the mega-hotels on The Strip. Also very quick to get to from I15. This was ideal for us. That said, the location is pretty close to The Strip.
