Having just returned from a month in Europe experiencing many different hotels, the Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport had excellent facilities and by far the best shower of them all. Quiet location, comfy bed plus airport transfer next door @ $10pp was a real bonus, compared to the taxi far of $60 the night before.

Love Sydney, light rail is great. Lots to see and do. The harbour is truly unique and Circular Quay is beautiful, great for walking around or sitting to have a cocktail overlooking the harbour, framed by the bridge and the opera house. Truly spectacular.

Sydney offers a wide range of activities, history and culture. VIVID and Sydney lightscape were fantastic even in cold weather. There are many tourist attractions but just sitting in a local cafe, having a drink while you watch the view and people walk by is certainly enjoyable. There is a lot of things of interest in walking distance although public transport, taxi and Uber rides are also a great option. There is an enormous list of options for food including the Skyfeast which we enjoyed while watching the view of the city at night pass by as it's a revolving restaurant.

Sydney is one of the truly great cities of the world,...
Sydney is one of the truly great cities of the world, everything you would hope for from a large city but still retaining some of the feel of a smaller town.
People are friendly and helpful, public transport is good and it has to be one of the best located cities in the world in terms of climate, remarkable beaches in the suburbs and a couple of hours away from a beautiful wine region in the Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains.
Sydney was my home for 8 years and there's never a day goes by that I don't miss it.
We had booked this room online via booking.com for our 20 year-old son who was at Sydney Airport but could not do it himself as he did not have a phone there. The hotel itself was fine, but what we really liked was the front-desk person who went above and beyond when I called at (local time) 3:00am and requested a wake-up call for my son. He said that there were no phones in the rooms, but that he would personally go and knock on the door and wake our son so that he would not miss his 6:00am flight to Brisbane - and he did. Kudos!
Rydges is just too convenient when you’re going into or out of the international terminal at Sydney Airport. from the arrivals hall, keep heading right until you get to the end of the terminal. cross the street and you’re at Rydges. New, clean, quiet, comfortable. And BTW, if you think it would closer or easier to stay at the hotel in the airport if you’re transmitting like I was, it’s not, you still have to go through Customs and spend just as much time and effort to get there.
I love this hotel. It is beautifully presented, the beds are amazingly comfortable, the staff are wonderful. The rooftop bar/work area is lovely. Yes the rooms are small but if you just want a place to come back to after a day I Sydney, it's great.
We stay here all the time because it's right above the Wynyard train station, and you can walk to the CBD, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, and the new area north of Darling Harbour which I forgot the name of.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel YEHS (Sydney CBD), and I'd like to commend Pratim and his colleague Jandro, at the reception for exceptional service. Pratim's assistance with an early check-in made my stay seamless and enjoyable. The hotel's overall ambiance, cleanliness, and the attentive staff contributed to a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Hotel YEHS for its excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations.

Lovely staff, very helpful and jovial.
Fabulous bed, so comfy with good sheets.
Amenities looked amazing, although as we only stayed overnight we couldn't take full advantage of the cocktail lounge 😞
Super view of the airport and great sound proofing 👌🏾couldn't hear noise from corridor outside room.
Good iron and hairdryer, not cheap and nasty like most hotels.
Location right near domestic airport is reason we use it. Have done so several times & will do so again.
It has a fast & reliable airport SHUTTLE, the reason why I selected this hotel originally.
Having a good shuttle is my number one NEED, especially in these times of RAIL STRIKES & Taxis getting harder to locate at Central & UBERS even harder to contact .
Location and decor of hotel were spectacular situated in the heart of Sydney CBD shops. Staff were also lovely. Bathroom was awesome. Breakfast dining area surroundings were so special being situated in a converted heritage post office building. Was very convenient to get to the theatre shows we were watching that day and night and close to public transport.
Our stay was exceptional. The hotel personnel were quite friendly, lending our mother their wheelchair. We made a last-minute reservation because our trip back home was canceled. Their accommodation and facilities were complete and spotless. They also offer airport transfer. We plan to stay again when we return to Sydney!
We never stayed here. Booking was confirmed and they never replied to us about meeting us with a key. We tried all afternoon, once we arrived in Sydney and we even waited at the apartment with no contact from the number supplied for the booking. Leaving us having to find accommodation elsewhere at 10pm on a Friday night.
The location is a bit older, but rooms have been recently refurbished and are nice and clean. The pup below (which is part of the hotel) serves quite good food. Free parking, a petrol station on premise and a short drive to the airport make it a perfect alternative to any hotels on the airport strip.
The location is quite excellent. It only takes about 20 mins from the airport to this hotel by train, and it's also convenient for travelers to go to Sydney's attractions. Besides, this hotel offers breads and snacks during breakfast time, and water/teabags/coffee all day long.
The view was amazing and the location was so easy, train from airport -to hotel was so easy.
facilities and food were great and staff were very helpful.
Can't fault the place and will be returning for all future Nth Sydney trips
Larger room and greater comfort than comparable hotels. 50th birthday note and gift from hotel was a nice touch. Location in Haymarket provides easy access to restaurants, Capitol Threate, light rail and CBD.
The location was great and the room was very good. The check-in and checkout process was fast. There are 2 Novotel hotels nearby in Darling Harbour. This one is the smaller one compared to the other one.
