Room was amazing. Was given a free upgrade! Food at the restaurant was great, service was a little slow so give yourself time when eating there. Location was amazing, the shuttle was great as always.

Nice place to stay if you want to move from one touristic place to another. Big city so you need to be careful after 5:30 pm. However there is a lot of art places, nice museums and good places to do some shopping.
Avoid Vicentino and the 7th after 4:00 pm

Absolutely loved the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum.
Absolutely loved the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum. Both were outstanding. The National Museum was slightly disappointing on the pre Columbian material after visiting the Gold Museum. Monserrate worth a visit on the hill as the views are spectacular. Try to take the cable car as the funicular was a bit claustrophobic. But tickets in advance. If you walk up or down the hill make sure you have good shoes to walk in
It was a good city to walk around. La Candelaria is a nice area and I wish I had time for a walking tour there. The graffiti in Bogota is spectacular and again with more time I would have done another tour. Some of the craft beer is excellent and there is a lot of it.
Be careful at dusk and at night especially if alone. You can feel a little isolated at times and there is some aggressive begging .
Overall an excellent city to visit for a few days.

Bogota is a large and interesting city with no shortage of places to visit beyond the well-known galleries and museums. While many people have some English, particularly those under 30 or working in hotels or better quality restaurants, having some Spanish is very helpful or use a translating app. To get around I found Ubers quite inexpensive and readily available, but allow plenty of time for travel as Bogota's traffic is notoriously heavy. Several locals warned me not to use the Transmillenio bus system for fear of robbery and its complexity. There are no trains. I stayed in the northern suburbs (Calle 100) which is more middle class and is said to be safer than the central city area. It's an interesting area to walk around and there are a number of large pleasant parks and well-priced good restaurants and shopping centres. The Parque de Chico - Mercedes Hacienda - with its lovely heritage house and the nearby (short walk) home and studio of Enrique Grau who died in 2004 are recommended. A high level of personal security awareness is essential - eg secure wallets, leave your passport at the hotel but carry some photo identification such as a driver's licence as many museums etc require it for admission. Acceptance of of debit/credit cards is far from universal so carry Colombian Pesos in small notes.

Gastronomy is very good check if is water restrictions go where is a lot of people visit museums a lot to do go to monserrate don't take yellow cabs and check the same rate when you stay I stay at Dann and over chargue 20 dolars more but in general if you like mountains food museums
Bogota captures unique Columbian culture beautifully, especially closer to La Candelaria. As you head north from there it will be cleaner and more modern especially near Zona T.
The walk from Centro Industrial area (Santa Fe) to La Candelaria is fun with many street vendors offering food and new/used items. Lots of ATMs and foreign exchange location along the way, you will need COP but established business take credit card sometimes with a fee.
The language is all Spanish, our translator app came in handy would recommend you install one for your trip if needed.
The weather is cool as city at 8k feet elevation. We visited in April with daytime highs in 60s but carry a light jacket as sun sets and temps drop to 50s. Interestingly, not many people in shorts, you will stand it if you where them.
Taxis everywhere, but we used Uber which worked really well and cheap maybe $8 for a 25min ride. Dollar strong vs COP, you can get a decent meal from $4 for meal of day style to $20 for a higher end fish place. Street food $1 hamburger and $2 chicken/beef stick.
Museums are great, lots of over 60 free or just a few bucks to see Bontero and Picasso originals.
We felt very safe even down in La Candelaria, never saw pickpocketing or theft but just a few requests for money during day and early evening. Was not out late evening so not sure about then.

I did visit a lot and managed to see a lot for the first time, being this was the 5 time in Bogota.
Very safe, with lots of polis all around. and very clean.
Everyone was very helpful.
Just google must-see in Bogota, and go. !!
This was just such a perfect base in Bogotá. It is just minutes from the main square, the museums and loads of nice cafes and restaurants. But it is set back from the road so it is quite quiet. It has a kitchen and a living room so you can really feel at home. Fernanda was amazingly kind and helpful and made me feel so welcome and comfortable which is so nice when you are travelling alone! I am so pleased that I stayed here for the last days of my trip as it really meant I ended my trip to Colombia on a high.
Location is very good, about 10-15 min walk to Plaza Bolivar, a bit less for the Gold Museum.Comfy bed, great city views, attentive staff, esp Srta Valentina at reception who speaks English ( the only one!) and is 100% there to help you. Also very helpful is Srta Maria at the dining room. Hot coffee in the lobby 24/7, pity they sweeten it. At breakfast they offer, in addition to ( cold!) eggs, Colombian dishes, varying from day to day.Coffee, "aromatica" and juice are pretty good.Room rates are fair value.
Very close to airport. Public transportation Transmilenio is just at doorstep so to go to any place in the city is a breeze, unlike taxi or by car which is almost impossible in Bogota at any time of the day or evening. Breakfast buffet is very good with several options for hot items. When I think of soundproof, it is exactly like this hotel has tackled it, almost perfect noise insulation from outside and inside. Staff is always ready to help.
Exquisitely decorated by the owner, a true gentleman who made our stay wonderful. A true jewel in old Bogotà, comfortable and beautiful, exquisite, I cannot recommend it enough!!! The two ladies who made our breakfast and served the delicious Colombian coffee, Lucia and Mai, were kind and solicitous and lovely. The neighborhood is safe, quaint and fun. I will recommend this gorgeous place to anyone who goes to Bogotá!!!
Everything: the architectural work is marvelous! Three classic houses that were persevered from the outside to create beautiful and consistent interiors inside, a spa-like garden to drink a cup of coffee when it rains in Bogotá, great Colombian-with-a-twist food straight from the farm served in the restaurant, and a service that took care of all our request in the most friendly way. We would definitely come back!
Ibis Marly is brand new and it shows. The main advantage: double-paned windows that actually keep you both warm and keep out the noise, which is often a problem in Bogota hotels. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet is good, location is close to the main areas of the Chapinero district. And with the M86/X86 bus lines it has direct connections to the airport
This hotel is in a beautiful older Colombian building with many courtyards and a delightful roof terrace. The room was large with good windows and a small balcony, but surprisingly quiet given that the hotel is on an important street. In fact the location couldn't be better, just steps from museums, restaurants and the lively central square. And the staff is just wonderful.
Staff was excellent: Katarin, Don Jose, and Don Manuel were super helpful. Also have to mention bulldog mascot of the hotel, Tokio! Cute dog. Great location in Usaquen, safe and upscale. Close to Carulla market, vegan cafe, Betaclimb rock-climbing gym, and Transmilenio. We will absolutely return here at the close of our vacation through Colombia.
In this hotel i really dont have anything to complain . the quality and the prices is simple perfect. I am surte nect time if i come to Bogota will book this hotel again .
The breakfast was great and the staff as well very kind ! The beds are very comfortable !
Parque 93 is just 10 Minutes Wallk, the popular ZONA T just 25 Minutes walk !
Great hotel for our first few nights in Colombia. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. It's in a nice area with a few resteraunts and bars around, if a little far from the city centre. The breakfast was brilliant with a great mix of European and Colombian food. Would certianly stay again if I was in Bogota
Super comfy beds....From a Canadian these are nice updated rooms, great shuttle to airport which I used a few times going from Bogota to Leticia and back....XOX right outside if you need anything plus a mini store in the hotel...Clean, great A/C, Wifi works decent and nice staff....What more do you need?
Our 1 and 3 year old appreciated that the room was spacious, as it is an older hotel. The place has a lot of charm and is in a great location. The showers have warm water and there was a fridge in the room. Overall, it was probably the best value for money place that we've stayed in Colombia so far!
Very friendly and helpful personnel. Especially the reception staff paola Mariane and Piter were very helpful. Also very good breakfast including various egg dishes on demand. A Modern hotel to recommend in a good location. I will book click clack Bogota again. Greetings Glenn
Our host, Mirian was amazing. She was kind, generous and share some ideas about good places to visit in Bogota. She even has the best Colombian Coffee for us.
The room was super clean and with all the facilities you could need. Definitely I will come back !
We chose this hotel for our last night in Bogota because we had an early flight next morning. There is a free shuttle service to the airport (5 mins ride) every 30 mins, 24h per day. We left at 4:30am and got breakfast-to-go (sandwich, juice and fruit).
Excellent breakfast! Full buffet, eggs to order, delicious Colombian specialties and kind staff. Reception staff and hotel staff were always super polite and helpful. Comfortable bed. Great hot water shower! Excellent location.
I like the fact that they offer free shuttle between the airport and the hotel. Its proximity to the airport is also a plus. Good facilities, friendly staffs. Will choose it again when I travel to Bogotá next time.
The location is easy to get to by uber from the airport. The hotel is easy to spot also. The staff are quite friendly and the location is close to a popular gastro hub in bogota.
Friendly staff, the old town of Bogota and Montserat is walking distance away. Next to the hotel you can find good restaurants. Easy accesible from the international airport
