It's a good city to walk around! So much to see and do, definitely need time!! Don't bother with the Sherlock Holmes museum!! Madam Tussauds is a MUST, a good 2 hours spent there. Legoland is awesome, we arrived at 10.30, left at closing and didn't quite see it all. Would recommend packing food, the food prices are over the top.

One of my favourite cities. So much to do and see.

One of my favourite cities. So much to do and see. It can be very busy like most cities, especially on the weekend, but there are so many back street pubs and cafes to choose from. Do make a booking if you a specific place in mind for dinner though. The city is very walkable and on a sunny day there is nothing better than taking a stroll along Southbank to The Globe Theatre and stopping for a refreshment in The Swan bar and restaurant next door, then heading across the pedestrian bridge to the north side and strolling up that side of the river. There is also an "uber" ferry that takes you from one side of the river to the other if you don't fancy the walk. In the evening Kingly Court just of Camden Market has some amazing places to eat. You should also book a table at Cahoots for a fun couple of hours, the cocktails are great (if a little expensive) and the venue is 1940's themed and set in an old underground station.

    1) London is a place worth visiting and it alone requires at least 5 days of visit. The British Museum, Churchill War Rooms, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey all require at least half a day of visit each. 2) Getting around London is easy, since it has a very sophisticated underground system. But a lot of underground walking is required when changing trains or using the Jubilee line. Visitors should also pay attention which direction (i.e. westbound, eastbound, southbound or northbound) they are going when changing trains. 3) Westminster is always packed with visitors and tourists. There was a cycling event on Sunday and roads in the Mall and around Trafalgar Square and UK Parliament were closed and visitors found it very inconvenient.

We stayed a few days in Greenwich which is like a small village, surrounded by the green spaces of the park and the maritime museum complex. Amazing to see the masts of the Cutty Sark peaking out over the top of the roofs, visible from almost everywhere in town. We then had a night in the West End, saw Hadestown, which was wonderful, and toured the Sir John Soane museum, a small gem of a museum great for those interested in Classical architecture and detaiol, 18th-19th Century architecture, and art (especially Turner).

Room is compact .. some would say too small perhaps, but for only 1 night it was perfectly fine. Room and bathroom was clean. Room was also perfectly quiet. Has a sweet little garden Although I did not have any, the breakfast looked nice but not many options. There are lots of options around this hotel for better breakfasts. Liverpool St is no more than 5 mins away and the new Elizabeth line means it's even more connected. If I need another stop over near the London office, will definitely consider staying here again.

I stay in London for work nearly every week and have been trying out many many different hotels and apartments, but this was by far the best. Really easy to get to, really friendly staff, gorgeous decor and the studio itself was very cool. Fab decor, everything I needed to cook for myself and eat at a proper table! It was also spotless and I could not hear any noise from the other rooms. Oh and the bed was SO comfortable. Nevermind one night...I could happily live there (and the bar was a real bonus).

I really enjoyed this hotel when I stayed there for three days several days before. I went off to the southwest of England and returned to the Sloane Square Hotel for one night as I had an early flight back to New York. I had an excellent room that overlooked Sloane Square but was very quiet. Great staff at the front desk that warmly welcomed me back to the hotel. This is a "real find" in an excellent location in London. I definitely plan to return.

The room was big and nicely decorated. I loved the shower room. The hotel is situated few minutes walk from Marble arch. We didn't have breakfast but there are many shops closeby. The room was always clean and so was the bathroom. The lounge area was small yet amazing. The hotel has certain touches you do not find in other hotels. It feels homey. The price is not cheap, but yet again cheap and London never go together.

Clean, modern in both the public areas and rooms. Considering this is at a Travelodge and Premier Inn budget hotel price-point, this totally blows both of them away for style and delivery. I'm generally not used to having a good night's sleep in London. Not on this occasion. I can't believe that I was so close to Kings Cross & St Pancras train stations, yet the room I got didn't pick up any of the noise from the area.
