Great train network and cheap too!
Great train network and cheap too! You're able to buy Airport Express tickets online (and will get the same discount if you don't have an Octopus card). Have brekkie at cha chaan teng (delicious and cheap) and go hard on the yum cha of course. Recommend the Tram-o-ramic tour and hop on the Star ferry. Would also highly recommend catching the high speed ferry to Macau for a day trip or stay there a few nights. Love HK!!! You need at minimum 4 nights stay or longer ideally.

A unique combination of old and new, high rise skyscrapers and old buses compete side to side and from all this chaos, something beautiful emerges. A fusion of Chinese and European characteristics, a cultural melting pot that is truly exciting to experience.

The weather was bad when I arrived, so I really didn't get to actually complete my planned itinerary. I just checked out the weather every morning and went to not too far places and Disneyland since I already booked the ticket. Luckily, there was the MTR so despite the heavy rain I managed to go to various places without getting drenched too much, except on the day that I arrived. If you like strolling around without any plans or don't really feel the need to visit the most popular attractions, you can still visit cool places around Hong Kong. Google Maps should come in pretty handy when searching for places to explore.

HK has very good transport connections with the world and neighbouring places. Food is good but hotel tariff is much higher than the neighboring place like Shenzhen. Food is good. Service is efficient and friendly.
Contrary to common hotels in Hong Kong that goes the lavish and glamourous style, Little Tai Hang offers a really cozy experience. It feels just like home, but better. Very quiet in the apartment, yet the surrounding neighbourhood is full of
classy restaurants and bars. A place for re-energising the spirit. Not to mention the view, looking over the Central Library, Victoria Park and the Victoria harbour. We tried the gym, it is not geared to the teeth, but got enough to get us going, also the equipment is quite new.
The location was near Wan Chai MTR which is quite convenient in moving around central area of Hong Kong Island and towards other parts of Hong Kong.
The staff was friendly and very helpful and the housekeeping team was very attentive and prompt in assisting any requests.
The room and toilet are clean and the bed is comfortable.
The gym was small with a few machines like 2 treadmills, a rower and a bench and some free weights along with other gym balls and mat. It is sufficient for a simple workout.
The location is in an ideal location for people going between the international airport and the China/Hong Kong border. The border was closed when I landed at the airport, so I needed to find a place to stay that was enroute to the border and also within my price range. This hotel was perfect for that! The service also helped me get a taxi in the morning, and the 24 hour service was much appreciated.
The Harbour Grand Hong Kong located at 23 Oil Street in the Fortress Hill/North Point neighborhoods of Victoria Island is great for the location. Overlooking the river on to Kowloon in TST with The IFC Building in Central, the Exhibition Hall in Wan Chai, Time Square in Causeway Bay The Musical Hall in Kowloon, and the Wan Chai Ferry to TST to list a few of the views.
The hotel is in a good location, short walk to the train station, and it's pretty easy to go to Central or Kowloon from the hostel.
There's loads of nearby restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores.
I found this pretty good value for money (but I guess prices fluctuate) and considering this is Hong Kong, I had a fairly large room that was clean!
The property is just 5 min walk from a metro station that is very convenient though not with direct line to the airport, but with pretty easy access to anywhere else in Hong Kong and Kowloon area.
We got an upgrade of the room to the suite that was great in terms of the size, view, amenities, etc.
The rooms are huge for Hong Kong standards.
For how expensive hotel rooms can be in Hong Kong, and for how little you can get for "cheaper rooms," we were very happy with our time at this hotel. It far exceeded what we were expecting. The room was big enough, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and it got nice and dark and cold when it was time to sleep. Also, good location.
I have stayed at this hotel for over 10 years. Its close to the airport and its a short ferry ride to Central (30 minutes, and there is a new fery at north plaza). The rooms are much bigger than room at Central at similar prices. Discovery bay neighborhood is very nice, not crowded like Hong Kong.
Rooms are very quiet.
We had a great stay at the hotel. Son loved the pool, and the room was clean and tidy. Hotel staff were, without exception, polite, friendly, and helpful. It was a great base for a few days in Hong Kong, conveniently located a few minutes walk from Wan Chai MTR, buses and trams.
The hotel has a great looking lobby! Spacious dining area and good swimming pool! The staff were courteous and helpful! They offer shuttle service to airport and malls. Hotel is conveniently located near airport and bus terminal going to Macau!
The location of the hotel was perfect,, very convenient and central and provided lovely Views of Hong Kong. As a long time residents of Hong Kong it was everything we wanted to relive out memories. The staff were friendly and so accommodating
Hello - A super valued hotel close to central in Hong Kong - ideally located next to the university MTR - my son and i spending a week here - very easy to get to central and south island - staff were just so lovely - would recommend!
Great hotel with most beautiful outside swimmingpool of Hong Kong. Everything is great, the service, the breakfast buffet, the different restaurants and bars etc. This hotel is way better than other 5 star hotels in Hong Kong!
Amazing location near airport and excellent Citygate mall. A great jumping off point to explore the beauty of Hong Kong. Very easy to get to Disneyland. The breakfast and the business lounge are strong points.
Every single staff member is amazing. Not an easy feat in a place like Hong Kong.
The hotel is great. Don’t let the perception of distance from downtown distract you from the best hidden gem in town.
The hotel is located in Wan Chai, which is a pretty nice are to stay and pretty suitable to move all around Hong Kong island and other islands. The breakfast has a a lot of variety.
Great Place to be in Hong Kong, central with easy access to Metro, Ferries and Trains. Convenient Hotel, especially the fresh renovated upper floors. !!
