Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.
There was so much to see and do we couldn't fit it all in.
There was so much to see and do we couldn't fit it all in. We loved the old town and tapas bars there. Everything was kept clean. We arrived on the Friday before the Copa del Rey on the Saturday, the supporters in the main were very well behaved and although there was a lot of drink going down and we were expecting for there to be a bit of a mess the next morning, but the street cleaners must have been there early morning because the areas were spotless. There seemed to be something going on a lot of the time we were there. There was a parade near the Setas de Sevilla on one of the days we were there and there was a lot of people gathering on the Sunday and being seen in their outfits for the Feria de Abril. We missed the start of that (at Midnight) as we had to go to Malaga by train the next morning.

Seville is a beautiful, bustling city and we loved it.
Seville is a beautiful, bustling city and we loved it. There is a lot of walking but we enjoyed that aspect.
Important to know that you really need to pre book tickets to the Cathedral and Real Alcazer as the queues are hundreds of people long and are only sold for that day (you cannot queue and book for the following day). Trying to book on line the tickets are only available for 3 or 4 days in advance which is no good when you are only there for a few days.
Plaza Espana is free and magnificent. Food and drink is very reasonable and delicious.
Triana is a 15 minute walk into Seville but a lovely location with lots of bars and restaurants. A must see is Flamenco

Seville had so many sites within walking distance, amazing restaurants. The city was clean and friendly to tourists. We recommend booking the key sites such as the cathedral and Álcazar in advance. We took a boat ride, rented bikes and went to many of the museums.

Sevilla it's no longer a place to meet locals
Tourist food and drinks everywhere
with tourist prices and bad quality - no affordable by locals
not worth going back there if you have already been there few years ago
We traveled around Spain and stayed in multiple five-star properties and this was our absolute favorite. The Sevilla suite was incredible - gorgeously decorated and well appointed. Included breakfast in the room was delicious every day. Service was friendly and always above and beyond. The attention to detail was phenomenal, from the fresh flower arrangements to the smell wafting through the hotel. Turn down service was a nice touch after coming back from dinner.
The hotel is located within the old town of Seville and attractions are all within walking distance. The hotel staff was great, friendly and accommodating on the last day my son and daughter was running the Seville half marathon and the hotel staff allowed us to stay with two of the four rooms we rented well past checkout time, allowing them to shower and us having a further explore of the exceptional beautiful Seville. The Hotel has historic value and interest.
The hotel is a very old palatial property turned into a hotel and it is both close to the best sites and places in Seville and a quiet retreat from what is one of Spain’s largest cities. You’d never know you were in the Center of a large metropolitan area with numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites within walking distance. The rooms were very large and comfortable and the bathrooms matched. Breakfast was excellent and the staff’s assistance was second to none.
Perfect location, right in the center of old town. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, as well as a supermarket, just two minutes away.
The house is big and cosy, yet very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the a/c is working well. The owner Eva has prepared everything you need and given very detailed Information about checkin, food and activities. Our best stay in Spain.
The apartment was well located to be able to walk to the center of town relatively quickly. Had great character, and made you feel like you were in old-world Spain, although the apartment was very modern. It was very HOT in Seville the week we were there so it was very nice that the apartment had air conditioning. Wi-Fi also worked very well.
The location in the old town is great, easy to walk to shops, the Setas, the river etc. Staff were very friendly on check in and the room was clean.
If you can cope with the temperatures in Seville and want to spend all your time sightseeing before an easy walk to a pleasant hotel to sleep, it is perfect.
Reception was extremely helpful. There was a misunderstanding with the room I booked and they were able to upgrade us to a superior room with a terrace free of charge. It was the best part of our trip to Spain!
The room was spotless, bed was extremely comfortable, and location was perfect.
Wonderful and relaxing Hotel! Stunning architecture! Very nice and helpful staff. Location is right in the middle of the city center ( Old Town ). The Breakfast was with previous appointment, which was good in order to avoid crowds, delicious food. Best to eat outside on the small terrace.
The staff were friendly and spoke good english, the room was a decent size with working a/c and the hotel had a lift. Location wise it was perfect for old town Seville and most things were just a short walk away including many reasonably priced restaurants.
Located directly in the old town of Seville in walking distance to all attractions. Lots of restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and gave good recommendations on places to have dinner. Hotel has a very nice interior design - especially the hall.
We stayed at 3 different hotels over our 7 day trip throughout southern Spain and this hotel was by far the cleanest and nicest. A cold front came through so fortunately the apartment had central heating which is an uncommon commodity is Spain.
Great location. The apartment was very nicely decorated and had all the necessary amenities. Spacious compared to other apartments in Spain. Marta was very nice and provided recommendations. There were instructions for all the appliances.
Hotel was in the middle of the old town. Excellent for touring especially as we only had the day in Seville.
Staff friendly and hotel had a very homely atmosphere. Recommended by a friend and I would extend the recommendation to others.
The place is vibing and the staff is kind!! You feel like you are among your family!! I loved the idea of free diner in many days of the week!! I loved the activities that they suggest!! It’s one of the best hostels in Spain.
Perfect traditional Spanish boutique hotel. Warm and welcoming! Great little spanish restaurant part of this family owned hotel. Always queues for tables. Book in advance! Best food in Seville!!!
Absolutely fabulous hotel in the centre of Old Town Seville, lovely roof terrace and the staff were friendly and really helpful with any questions. Our room was spacious and very clean
one of the best hotel I stayed at in Spain. The room was super clean and modern. The hotel located in a great place, close to amenities and city center.
