Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.
Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.
For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.
As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.
Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.
Located close to Metro, and in walking distance from Merlion...
Located close to Metro, and in walking distance from Merlion and Marina Bay Sands. The staff were really helpful and available 24/7. Loved the Water garden at Marina Bay Sands. Loved the Marina Bay Sands Mall, the Rooftop restaurant, the Apple Store shaped like a glass apple floating on the marina. Loved the cleanliness of food halls and that smoking is in seperate areas. The fruits were fresh and sweet. We had a bit of trouble getting tickets on the trains with our NZ Mastercard. If we had more time we would have worked it out and travelled to Sentosa or other places. Wed probably stay closer to the marina next time and in a bigger hotel. It was a bit small for us. Otherwise had a great time in Sinagapore.

Singapore offers so much, lots to do and see.
Singapore offers so much, lots to do and see. The Metro is clean, easy to use and cheap to get around. The city is clean and the people are so friendly! When-ever we got lost we just asked someone and every person was helpful and courteous. It gave us such a good feeling about Singapore. The hawker markets are so cheap and easy to find something we wanted to eat, the food delicious, we wished we had eaten there more but had restaurants booked. The food choice is amazing in Singapore. We stayed in Chinatown and just loved walking around our hotel, absorbing the feel and character of the neighbourhood.

As a world traveler, I rate Singapore as one of the top cities in the world to visit. At the top of the list is eating and dining. Whether at hawker stalls- yes, they are rated by health ministry- or Michelin star restaurants, you will find everything you can ask for. The transit system is the best in the world. The city is exceptionally clean and safe. There are great museums, fantastic architecture and sites.
I recommend finding a tour guide for at least a half day to best understand this marvelous contemporary city and its history, food and people.

As a solo traveller I feel very safe wondering around. The Hawker Food centres are fantastic, you can eat somewhere different every night at a very reasonable price. Singapore is a terrific 1st introduction to South East Asia, so much culture yet never overwhelming.

We loved Singapore. It's so clean and we always felt safe.
We loved Singapore. It's so clean and we always felt safe. Public transport worked like a charm. (We live in Hamburg / Frankfurt, so we know what we are going through with German public transport). Singapore's citizen are friendly and welcoming. We often had the chance to chat while we were waiting for the bus or riding the bus, and we loved to hear about Singaporian day-to-day life. During our 10 days stay we had the chance to see and do a lot without being under too much pressure due to lack of time. We went there during Chinese New Year, which was lovely, but you have to bear in mind that during that time many smaller establishments might be closed.

Singapore is a clean, vibrant location worthy of a visit.
Singapore is a clean, vibrant location worthy of a visit. The people are extremely friendly and helpful and getting around is very easy. It can be oppressively hot, however all buildings we visited were air conditioned and that eases the heat very quickly.
We have stayed at so many hotels in Singapore. Royal Plaza on Scotts was by far the VERY BEST. The reception staff were very courteous and check in was fast. The room was large and very clean. The king size bed was wonderful. The toilet had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the shopping and also great places to eat. We truly enjoyed our stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts.
No breakfast included. in fact, there was not a restaurant on the property. It is mostly a large office building with long-term residence and only a few floors devoted to the hotel. However, 50 feet away from the entrance was a hawkers pavilion with fabulous local food from multiple stalls at ridiculously cheap prices. Even if there were a restaurant, I would recommend going to the hawkers stalls instead!
Also, there was a laundromat on the ninth floor which was super convenient.
All the staff are friendly and accomodating, Jannah is really nice as well as the others. I love the location, as a first timer in Singapore, I manage to visit nice places using public transportation (train) as it is just walking distance from the hotel. They have washing machine in the room and things for cooking. Pool is superb, gym and sauna. They also have massage chair that is good after long day of walking.
I think the room is small for its price and location, but it is the very few hotels in Singapore offering connecting room for family. The MRT and Jurong East Mall is a long walk from the hotel, about 10 minutes. The hotel is a standalone building in the area. The plus point is that it is near the Singapore Science Centre. It also provides shuttle bus service to Sentosa
Rooms are small but fine if you’re not carrying a ton of luggage. Bathrooms are tiny, but I’ve stayed in expensive “boutique” hotels in Europe that are the same. The building is quite new, so everything was in good condition. The location is great for experiencing a funkier, less gleaming side of Singapore, with tons of street side restaurants a minute’s walk away.
It's a decent hotel, much better than other "budget" hotels you can find in Singapore.
The room I lived in is very bright with 2 windows. The room size is not bad as a budget hotel. There is a desk and a chair with a roof light above. Not bad for working remotely.
If your room is in the rear end, there is no road noise at all.
The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient - near restaurants/cafe, 7/11, and bus stop. Hotel was also clean.
Like most budget hotels in Singapore, the shower and toilet do not have a barrier, so the toilet can easily get wet after a shower. However, feel free to ask for an extra floor towel if needed.
Location is great if you want to be right in the middle of Orchard road.
That's about the best I can say, there are loads of great hotels in Singapore but this is not one of them.
Room was super average, shower was crap, pool is not 47 meters it has an island in the middle of it.
Breakfast was average and staff just ok.
Celebrating 60th Wedding Anniversary and the Hotel made our stay exceptional - upgraded room to 28th floor, provided all kinds of special touches including special desserts as well as special breakfast. Club level food and service fantastic, location is perfect, city of Singapore is wonderful.
It’s such a great boutique hotel in the heart of the city. The room is fantastic. The roof top pool is sensational and you could not ask for friendlier hotel staff. It’s my favourite Singapore hotel experience and I’ve stayed in over 30 hotels in the city. Can’t recommend it enough
Great location close to the Rocher MRT station and Little India. Good value for money (all hotels in Singapore are expensive!) Excellent pool, kept the kids entertained for hours on those hot sticky days. Breakfast was varied and excellent.
Location was good and staff were friendly. Super close
To 2 MRT stations and a bus stop. It was a cheap stay compared to other hotels in Singapore. If you need somewhere just to sleep and are busy most of the day then it’s fine.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mi and we were very happy with the value that it provided. Hotels in Singapore are very expensive, but Hotel Mi came within our budget without skimping on quality. The pool was a definite plus!
We asked and got connected rooms for our family of 5. Very comfortable rooms and nice hotel in a great location. Special shout out to Mr Kenny the front office personnel who checked us in efficiently and comfortably.
Facilities were great for a short stay. Location was very close to MRT station. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Singapore. Ideal if you are on a budget.
Bigger than most budget hotels in Singapore. Clean and with reliable housekeeping. No smoking, no strange smells. Relatively large bathroom. Nice, helpful staff.
A cozy and pleasant apartment at the heart of Singapore, next to the Downtown train line station. It's an apartment but the staff can provide hotel services.
