Basic cheap hotel, staff were helpful and provided consumables when asked, room not serviced but that might have been because I kept the key. AC etc did not shut off when out of room so kept cool. Minimal furniture, probably best for a short stay. Not really a travel destination. Bed was comfortable and no issues with noise, my room did not have a window, I was there only to sleep. As a base does the job. There are shops, grocers, 7-11 and a bank nearby, also repair shops etc. Train KL Sentral to Shah Alam, taxi. I had a problem because of Ramadan finding a taxi. There is also a bus from KL, card only, get one at Sentral before going for bus. If you don't have a car, taxi or walk are the options if you want to go where the bus doesn't. Outside of Ramadan daytime there are many local restaurants, one or two open in the day. I would consider staying closer to the station next time for easier access to KL.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Good accessibility in and out of Shah Alam. Easy access to amenities, shopping malls, supermarkets & food outlets. Shah Alam is a family oriented residential city which houses the beautiful state mosque, i-city, a large recreational lake & plenty of restaurants, among others.

We were staying in i city the whole time.
We were staying in i city the whole time. There are lots to see in icity itself with the enchanting colourful lights and an huge amusement park that has everything like snowworld, waterworld, horror house, roller coaster rides, etc with shops selling candyfloss, snacks, and also lots of restaurants. The central walk shopping mall is only a 10 mins walk away which is great. It has a nice movie theatre and lots of shops and eateries.
