Bright and airy home with a lot of hunting trophies. The owners were very friendly. We arrived late with our dinner and the host provided use with a table setting. The breakfast was excellent. Nice quiet location basically in the woods.

We were there for a medical procedure and there was a snowstorm so it was a good place to be safely. We utilized the restaurant because it was close and the staff was very friendly there. We travel to Cranbrook often from Creston , but don't often stay overnight

Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race.
Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race. It was excellently organized with lovely volunteers. The trail from Cranbrook to Kimberley was perfect as was the entire race. In general the people of Cranbrook were friendly and kind.

The room wasn’t bad but very basic.
The room wasn’t bad but very basic. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast option was a disaster. A muffin, a juice box and a piece of fruit in a bag is NOT breakfast. The listing needs to change showing No Breakfast.

No complaints expect maybe the wifi could be better, beds were comfortable, kitchenette was more than we needed but very well stocked. Despite not looking like much from the outside our room was nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
Also The Heid Out/Fisher Peak Brewing was family friendly and had the best food by a long shot! Was worth a really long wait too!

Amazing views and superb building.
Amazing views and superb building. However, there is room for improvement considering the hotel facilities. Comparatively very expensive and no value for the money as there are no meals included in the booking. It is a great location for a photo shoot. However, I do not recommend it for accommodation purposes.

We stayed in the downtown area were there is a very large park - I think it’s the Rotary Park. We were there on a Saturday and they have live music and serve beer and coolers in part of the park. There are a number of restaurants and shops in the downtown area we stayed at. We stayed at the Baker Hotel which is an old brick hotel that is renovated. We ate at the Heid Out & Fisher Peak Brewing Company for dinner twice. We saw deer just walking around neighborhoods, which was really fun for us.
My room was with a full and nicely equipped kitchen. Most cookware were stainless steel and well cared for. The whole room was almost spotless. The bathroom was probably the cleanest among all the room I have stayed. Bed was nicely made and you felt clean when you walked in the room. Good size room with full kitchen for the excellent price. That was why I am a repeated customers to this motel.
Rooms were clean upon arrival. Check in was easy and quick. All staff were friendly. We had rooms next to each other on the ground floor and were able to visit each night and in the morning. The hotel was extremely busy but quiet. You could not hear who was in the next room at all. Will stay here again if I am ever in Cranbrook
The room was a good size and was comfortable. Dove products were provided in the bathroom which was unexpected but convenient. The location was convenient to the airport which is why we booked a hotel for the night. Restaurants were walkable.
The breakfast had a good variety and the hot options were freshly prepared.
Location of the Hotel is downtown close restaurants and shops. The Hotel is a heritage building and has a quaint atmosphere. It celebrates the history of the CPR with numerous photos and old adverts on it's walls. That said the room I stayed in was very modern.
Loved the heritage building with modern renovations but keeping it feeling like a heritage hotel. Central. Loved that there was a restaurant in the building and a sushi restaurant right next door. Many conveniences nearby. The staff was great.
I like the room set-up with a sofa and bath room with an additional faucet. Staff were friendly. This hotel is providing breakfast with a good service, whereas, most of other major brand hotels are not providing breakfast to its customers.
This Best Western exceeded my expectations. It was well maintained, good value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. A bonus was the small restaurant, The Modern Olive. The food was excellent.
The property was a reflection of the past. a dark past but kudos to keeping it real with the display of the history. Absolute beautiful building restored into a hotel for people to take in.
The location may not be perfect for new visitors to Cranbrook as it is a bit out of downtown but it is very close to my daughter's house. I think it is the nicest hotel in Cranbrook.ppp
This is a great hotel for staying overnight when using the Cranbrook Airport. The rooms are large and comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful, and it's a short drive to the airport.
Great location, nice pool, and clean, quiet rooms. We were on a motorcycle trip and this hotel welcomes motorcycle riders. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
