What a beautiful place to relax! The views are amazing and it's very peaceful. The villa we stayed at is spacious with a large terrace. The villas share a pool, located beautifully and so comfortable with great loungers. The restaurant has the same gorgeous view and the food is great.
The great thing is also that they have a gate directly to the Delaire-Graff estate for wine tasting, dinner. They have a fantastic restaurant.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves.
The staff are wonderful.

The hotel was modern and sleek.
The facilities of the hotel are great. We had a wine tasting included and there was a discount on massages.
We also played golf at the range which was included.
The gym and pool have everything one needs and is very clean. Our room was cleaned twice a day.
Our highlight was the wine tasting as the staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We also loved the screening room, which we got to book for a night to watch a movie.
Really nice hotel, only stayed one night but the location being close to centre of stellenbosch and the secure parking was wonderful. Host was helpful when we checked in and offered to book us dinner at a local restaurant. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely for the view but the breakfast itself was not as fresh as it could have been, but overall a great stay and would stay again.
The property is handy for Stellenbosch and surrounding areas. There is plenty of parking - although some way from the premises. Our room was comfortable and spacious enough. A highlight was the restaurant. Our evening meal was excellent as was breakfast. We had stayed in a number of other excellent hotels over that period - and The Devon Valley food shone above the others.
This is a great hotel with little houses. You get an apartment with two rooms, kitchenette. The breakfast was amazing, ask for the omelette. The Wingerd restaurant is great for a nice dinner with a variety of wines. The hotel is surrounded by a breathtaking area of mountains and vineyards. If you want to stay in the region of Stellenbosch, choose this hotel.
The hotel has the comfiest beds with lovely squishy pillows! There are 2 pools, each one getting the sun at different times of the day. It is located on a lovely quiet street, not far from the main town with all the restaurants/cafes/shops. Staff were so friendly and made us feel at home and there is a resident cat called Caroline!
Cute little hotel in Stellenbosch. Comfortable, clean and walking distance from a bunch of restaurants. Breakfast is good, mostly baked goods and coffee/tea. It got kind of crowded a few days but in general it wasnt too bad. Staff is great as well, very helpful. Also just a 20 min uber to cape town (less than 10 dollars).
This was our second stay at the Stellenbosch Hotel. They were once again wonderful and even let us stay in our original room! They helped us throughout our stay and made amazing recommendations for us at wineries and restaurants. I'd highly recommend them and will stay again on our next visit.
Very cosy boutique hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent, and there is a large garden with a small pool to chill at. The hotel is located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, within walking distance of the centre of Stellenbosch (roughly 20 minutes).
The big plus of the spier hotel is that it is on their own wine farm. You can go on picnics, go to the restaurants, do wine tasting, go swimming, go to the spa, there is an abundance of activities to do. Plus the close proximity to stellenbosch adds to the list of todos.
Stunning Boutique Hotel ib the heart of Stellenbosch - I do have to add that Temba who manages the property is excellent from check-in to the delicious breakfast he cooked managing the hotel on his own and being there for each guest is incredible.
The guest house is in the center of Stellenbosch, walking distance to everything in town. The staff are very friendly and always helpful with smiling. A swimming pool in the backyard to enjoy the sunshine, parking area in the hotel, kitchen for
What a lovely find. The one ro.self catering cottage was perfect for us for the night. Lovely braai and wood provided. Beautiful setting on the dam and garden. Lovely to see the huge tortoises.. Will definitely be back.
Perfect place to spend your stay in Stellenbosch. For me design and well managed common areas are very important factors. This place offers something special with its design. Michelle is a great host.
The property was in a safe neighborhood and within walking distance of stores and the Stellenbosch university. The room was clean and beautifully decorated and we had access to a television.
Absolutely adored the "boho" vibe indoors and loved soaking up the lively buzz of Stellenbosch. Everything you need, from shops to restaurants, is just a stroll away.
It is a historic building in the best location of. Stellenbosch. The hotel is great and the staff has managed to made my stay great. The place is super clean!!
