The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. We had a 4 day wedding event in the area. There are a lot steps and hills but that's the area in general and not the fault of the hotel. Area is nice and quiet.

Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town...
Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town like other Amalfi coast towns. There is a nice charm in the town itself. For those that don't rent a car, there is a bus that takes you to Amalfi. There are also paths that take you to Minori and Amalfi, just remember that the elevation of Ravello is at 1000ft, so walking to the other towns will require a walk back up the mountain or the use of a bus or taxi.

There are stairs everywhere, but I knew this.
There are stairs everywhere, but I knew this. Two beautiful gardens to visit. You need to be fit to stay in Ravello. There are walks around the hills. Good restaurants and a very good small supermarket/deli

Ravello is all about the views, which are incredible.
Ravello is all about the views, which are incredible. The town itself is small but there are a handful of great restaurants and shops to see. If you are looking to get away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi, this is the place.

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. When the day-tourists arrive it becomes a bit crowded. In general it is a tourist place. Souvenir shops with overpriced ceramics and other useless items. There are some nice restaurants.
It is very difficult to get to and from Ravello with public transportation. Taxis in Amalfi charged 100 euro to go to Ravello, pure robbery. The bus takes 1½ hours from Amalfi and doesn't go often. You can walk down to Minori and Amalfi. Takes 45-60 minutes depending on fitness level. Walking up is also possible, but quite hard for the average person.

Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing views, stunning grounds and beautiful rooms. More like a bed and breakfast, Salvatore the manager is the absolute best! He contacted us before we arrived to give some details and welcome us, took the information of our car service and was in touch with the driver while we were on route. He saw that we had everything we could possibly need. Showed us around the Villa property, brought us up to the square, to show us around and just made us feel like family. I highly recommend this beautiful place! We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying here again.

The accommodation was very clean, the two maids were an absolute delight !
They were so friendly and really looked after us with a 6 month old baby
One of the ladies did breakfast also , again she was so helpful and lovely
The restaurant at the accommodation was by far the best food in Ravello
The pizza was amazing , and in town there is a takeaway, double the price and no where near as good as at Mimi
The views are stunning where you eat breakfast
I would definitely recommend stopping here
An amazing hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and served in a room with an amazing view. Dinner in the Belvedere Restaurant was wonderful and drinks in the bar listening to live music was a great end to the day. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The Amalfi Coast area is beautiful, but pretty congested with traffic and crowds. The Belmond Caruso and the town of Ravello were a picturesque and peaceful oasis.
- Location was perfect, right in the middle of Ravello with gorgeous views of the hills from the pool
- We had budget rooms but they were really big and lovely, big bathrooms and super clean
- Reception staff were lovely and porters helped with luggage not just within the hotel but also to our taxi which was a few mins walk from the hotel as Ravello is pedestrian only
- We had lunch and breakfast and both were very good
The staff were super helpful and attentive. They took us to our room and gave us very detailed help with getting around Ravello and what to see and do. The hotel had a MCM 50’s ocean vibe to it with a beautiful James Bond lounge with great modern woodwork overlooking the sea. Likewise the dining room also has insane views and heavenly views with the windows open as you eat a delicious breakfast.
Highly recommended accomodation for visiting Amalfi Coast. Guido is an exceptional host , who are listening to guests and tryuing to provide high-class experience. If you are going to Ravello/Amalfi, this hotel is an excellent choice. Hotel also provides such an experience as cooking class, which is unique experience as well. 10 from 10, we will return here again!
This is a sweet B&B located just outside of Ravello centre. The room is bright and clean, loved the bathroom although the water pressure was a little low. The breakfast is as you would expect, simple continental. It is the views that make this B&B so lovely and there was talk about a new pool being built this year which will transform this hotel!
Hotel has a wonderful view of the coastline and surrounding towns. The room was newly renovated and was spotlessly clean. Great air conditioning. Free parking on site. Short walk up some stairs to the center of Ravello.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good selection at breakfast of cold options.
Great terrace perfect for a sunset drink
The breakfast was the best we had on our Italian vacation. Steaming hot cappuccino, flaky croissants, warm rolls, yogurt, meat, and best of all, fresh fruit cup. Our host was extremely helpful and accommodating. The location of the hotel is directly behind the town square, so you can be at the Duomo in about 3 minutes on foot.
The most beautiful private terrace with the most amazing view we ever had, the best location in the town straight on the bus and taxi stops. Room was just exeptional....I couldnt believe to have all this for this price....if I ever come back to Ravello which is just amazing definitely it will be this hotel! 5 stars from me!
An attractive place to stay; it is quiet, clean and is located just a short walk from the centre of Ravello. Breakfast I would describe as OK...but I was probably spoilt by my stay at another hotel in Ravello, where breakfast was exceptional. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Beautiful room and view! The best in Ravello with a pool to within a budget! :-)
Food is also very good. There is a pool bar who will serve you good food and drinks. The restaurant in the evening and cocktail bar is also amazing!
Amazing family hotel in romantic Ravello 🫶🇮🇹
Absolutely beautiful hotel with a great clean pool with stunning views of the Bay of Salerno. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room size very good, beautiful views and great central location few minutes from Ravello square. Would not hesitate to book here again .
If you on Amalfi Coast and want to stay in the best location with the gorgeous view - Holiday House Civale in Ravello is the one! Highly recommended! Very safe, with private parking. Owner is speaking English, very friendly, generous and helpful in every situation.
The hotel is perfectly situated in Ravello. Just a few minutes walk from the main square. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, we even had a large patio. The pool was a wonderful plus. Marita was so kind and helpful. We had s as fabulous stay m!
We had a lovely stay at this lovely family hotel. We really enjoyed freshly made homey breakfasts with the view over Ravello. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. This is a place we will definitely come back to again! thank you for everything!
The breakfast and selection of meats and cheeses was exceptional. Incredibly gracious hosts in a location that offers some of the best views of Ravello and the Amalfi coast. The hotel is approximately half a mile from the Ravello square.
Ravello its self is beautiful and the estate the villa sits on is lovely. The views are some of the best you could find in Italy.
The pool is nice and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Certain staff members were very nice.
Very spacious and comfortable apartments, easy stroll into Ravello main square.
Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful.
If you want a genuine apartment experience rather than a hotel, then this is the place.
The view was exceptional. The hosts could not have been more welcoming for my husband and I. They even tried their hardest to book us another hotel in the area because we didn't want to leave Ravello. We will be back!!
Anna and the rest of the staff are amazingly kind. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful, in a beautiful location in Ravello. I highly recommend this stay.
