A last minute deal but for sure the best deal I could make! Amazing staff with a really warm welcome and explanation of the facilities, a really good, clean and spacious room with a GORGEOUS view to the monastery and a really fresh and varied breakfast in the morning. Couldn't ask for better!

Owner was helpful getting us tickets to Joanna library at the university and gave us a bigger room which was nice as it was raining the night we stayed. It gave us more room to be comfortable when we decided it was to wet to walk around at night. Luis was also very attentive in making sure we got everything we needed at breakfast.

The monastery / cathedral was great.
The monastery / cathedral was great. And there was a great little flea market Sunday morning in the adjacent parking lot focused on antiques. I had dinner in an excellent restaurant across from my hotel, just behind the monastery and was really rather impressed. And of course Super Bock was available everywhere.

Lovely place to visit.
Lovely place to visit. The monastry is impressive and the surroudings are very nice. It is a quiet place to stay 1 or 2 days. Taking a coffee and portuguese pastries on a terrace, in front of the monastry is very delightful...
The staff was the highest quality when it comes to customer service. They take that extra step to make you feel welcome. For example, we arrived in late afternoon hungry and tired around 4pm. The staff offered to make us a meal. My husband and I ordered one of everything. It was the best meal we have had in Portugal. We were so impressed that we stayed additional day.
Our host was also a tour guide. Every suggestion she gave us we did. For example, cave exploring in a local nearby cave. 5 stars.
Entire apartment, bottom floor of house on small farm outside of Batalha. Very comfortable, close to Batalha Monastery, Fatima, Nazaré, Alcobaça, Leiria. Hosts very friendly. Lovely small garden in back, guests encouraged to enjoy and feed the animals (shelled corn provided) - chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbit, goats, sheep, and pony that they let kids ride. Rooms look out on the garden and small olive, grape, and grazing fields. Just delightful, very peaceful.
This was a one night stay - perfect for what we needed. Super quiet. Very clean. Bathroom was not in the room, but was right outside the door. Small place, so not too much of a chance to cross with other guests in the bathrooms. Our room was the double size bed -- it was huge / spacious .
The common areas are equally quiet and clean. Breakfast is extra, but worth the money.
Lots of places to track nearby. Fatima trail right outside the gate.
First of all, I would like to note the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff. We felt very welcome and even got a room with a great view of the city's unique monastery. The hotel is very interestingly decorated and even has its own store. We are very glad we stayed here for one night and grateful for the warm welcome! We wish them further prosperity!
The location is splendid; you have a very nice view of Batalha a couple of kilometers down, in front of a very interesting swimming pool and inside a field of olive trees.
Staff was extremely polite, facilities were very confortable and clean.
Every morning a different breakfast surprised me.
Will repeat, surely.
Host was super friendly and talkative. Bathroom was really clean and looked nice. Room was small but very comfy and well equiped. I would come back for a longer stay if I had a chance. Really great place with space to park the car and the kitchen equped enough to cook yourself.
Wonderful views all round terraces, great walking through vineyards to village, also avocado, lemon, lime, orange, kaki and apple trees. Great recreational facilities: swimming pool, pool table, table football etc, good bbq facilities , lots of space, well-equipped kitchen
Cosy little apartment with everything you need for short stay, furnished thoughtfully and with taste. Only a few steps from beautiful Batalha monastery. Free parking just across the street. Gonçalo Xavier waited for us and gave us all the necessary instructions.
The location is super convenient. It's near the main sightseeing place in Batalha. The room was very clean and comfy. I recommend this place to visit with your family.
The location is optimal for exploring Batalha. The bed was very comfortable, Shower had rain shower and great hot water...Staff where friendly and outgoing.
