Really unconventional experience with lots of friendly animals roaming the property. The cats especially were all little love bugs. Watching the sun rise over El Yunque from my bedroom window was awesome. I thought the staff were pretty nice, treated you like somewhere between a guest and a friend. When you stay here you'll see and hear lots of different wildlife including a chorus of Coqui
Easy and quick drive to El Yunque if you want to be one of the first ones in. We found that the morning was super clear and peaceful at El Yunque while the rest of the day was more rainy - so arriving early may have perks. Really quick and close drive to Luquillo as well

The area around the condo had just what we needed…markets, several nice restaurants and a very. Beautiful beach. only About 30 minutes from the airport on an easy highway. Maybe 45 minutes if traffic. El Yunque and the Luquillo kiosks close by.

I loved the beach and the swimming pool areas and bars.
I loved the beach and the swimming pool areas and bars. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and we had a great view of the ocean. The food was really good, in particular, the breakfast was fantastic. Make sure to request a tour to the rain forest ahead of time. We used to just drive to it, but now you need to reserve or go with a tour.

Our stay was great and we had access to the beach, hotel...
Our stay was great and we had access to the beach, hotel restaurants and it is was easy to go around Rio Grande and other near towns. The down part was the weather due to Tropical Storm Laura but we felt safe and didn't cancel. Our host was making sure we were ok besides Ocean Villas has water reserves and emergency power generators. That is why it's our favorite place.

If you are just looking for a beach vacation, there are hundreds of better priced resorts with equally nice facilities. If you want to visit El Yunque, it’s the perfect location. Also a great spot for golfers as there are two PGA class courses on the property.
