Whatever say - London is a good place to visit.

Whatever say - London is a good place to visit. Quite expensive - you have to take it into account. All the "must see"places are interesting - pitty that in most of them to get inside you have to pay. Keep in mind that even free entries require internet reserviation (this way you can omit long queues or just be able to get into). Some non obvious places - Sky Garden, Hyde Park, Greenwich Foot Tunnel. For eating there are plenty of places, however it is good to eat in ... pub. I suggest Wetherspoon.

We texted, called, emailed, and reported the place was not cleaned, Bed Bugs infested, very small bedroom located on top of two flights up on the stairs with no elevator. Very loud place not good for families or if you want to sleep on time. No cleanliness was done, and no resolution was provided. Someone's old dirty clothes were left in the closet so it was unable, the dirty carpet was filled with stains, and we sent bed bug pics to the company still waiting to hear back from them. Stay away from this place,

If there's any particular topic that you're interested in there's a good chance London has a nice museum dedicated to it. Apart from that you can taste cuisines from all around the world and thanks to the tube - you don't need to care about driving. Sure, it's crowded, but it's crowded because it's famous. And it's famous for a reason.

Before travelling to London, I thought it would be dirty and unsafe, but I was so wrong! The city was far safer and cleaner then cities like Victoria, BC, that's for sure. There is soooo much to do here and so much personality in the different personalities that one will run out of time far faster than out of things to do. Alas, one will also run out of the money just as quick. Coming from Canada, I found London to be ripping expensive and the only way I'd go back was after winning the lottery. Maybe for those who have six digit jobs would have a different opinion.

Finished off night at Blues Kitchen live soul jazz music, fantastic DJ set from 10pm. Rooftop at hotel is lovely, managed separately so you will have to pay rather than adding to room bill but no problem. Comfortable beds. The hotel is basically built over a road, so if you are unlucky enough to get a room on the first three floors you may be stuck in a bizarre manoeuvre to access the front door. It is also tricky to find the front door, one could find oneself roaming around the wrong building in an effort to find an open door or the entrance. The lobby is quite subtle amongst the buildings in the area.. looks like an office lobby with minimal signage. But once inside, it is very nice and the breakfast buffet is terrific by London standards.

Lovely, friendly guy greeted us on arrival, happily gave us advice on getting around London. Our twin room was spacious for London. Very clean throughout and comfortable beds. The tea and coffee facilities and fridge were a bonus too. We were very happy with everything for the price we paid - it was cheaper than most hotels we've stayed in and much nicer. The location was great too - just around the corner from Baker Street station with plenty of eating establishments a short walk away.

Great choice for a short trip. Cozy and welcoming; very familiar atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the decoration. My sister and I stayed at Room 22. Not many hotels with twin beds! Great location, near to cafes and restaurants, but quiet at night. Close to Paddington station (final stop Heathrow Express). Easy to get to Central London: close to three Underground stations and bus stops. There are bigger, more expensive rooms for couples too.

Very comfortable and clean, great staff.Rooms need abit more updating, no saving mirror in the bathroom, no mirror on the office desk to do your hair and make-up so had to either stand up in the bathroom or sit on the floor by the wardrobe. It would have been a good idea to have a hotel channel on the TV to promote all the hotels facilities, restaurant, breakfast, hire cars and what London has to offer.

Beautiful, tiny rooms that are easily accessible to the Earl's Court stop on the Underground. Took less than an hour to get to Heathrow. They also let you check your bags if the rooms aren't ready upon arrival. There are hotels in London that cost the same with amenities such as a swimming pool and laundry facilities but access to public transportation was a huge help.

This is one of those small London hotels converted from apartments. So more a series of rooms than a normal 'hotel'. No dining, bar or leisure facilities. More a 'room for the night'. Rooms are very compact, especially the bathroom but modern and clean and fine for one night. Great location near King's Cross station. Good value for money.

Clean, modern in both the public areas and rooms. Considering this is at a Travelodge and Premier Inn budget hotel price-point, this totally blows both of them away for style and delivery. Room was tiny (it is central London) but it was well designed with lots of storage, comfortable bed and small shower but plentiful hot water.

Stayed in a single room that was equipped with a proper desk (not always the case in London's hotels!).
