Nairobi offers an exciting blend of adventure, culture, and urban charm. The city is a gateway to thrilling wildlife experiences, with the Nairobi National Park providing a rare opportunity to see, giraffes, and rhinos against a backdrop of skyscrapers. The Giraffe Centre allow for intimate encounters with giraffes. Nairobi's rich cultural heritage is showcased in attractions like the Karen Blixen Museum and the Nairobi National Museum. The bustling Maasai Market is perfect for shopping for local crafts and souvenirs. Culinary delights abound, from street food stalls to high-end restaurants offering both local and international cuisine. Despite its busy urban environment, Nairobi has serene spots like the Karura Forest for nature walks and picnics but was flooded during my visit. The city's vibrant nightlife, friendly locals, and mix of traditional and modern experiences make Nairobi a captivating destination for any traveler. Be extra cautious of your safety and belongings while travelling, lurking danger of thefts always.

loved Nairobi elephant orphanage and giraffe Centre a must - we also saw Bomas of Kenya and some museums. Also visited a tea farm which was a great relaxing day. Restaurants we visited were very nice. People very friendly - easiest way to get around is make sure you have uber app although be careful of them trying to hike price up when they realize you are tourists. Try not to arrange visits for peak travel time as roads are extreamly busy and can be scary. Also if there it is an absolute must to book safari.

I like that there are small privately owned shops and street hawkers. I prefer shopping at individual stalls as opposed to a department store. The food at The Olive Restaurant is a good value. I'd love to look around Simlaw Seeds; I used to have a farm and will return to farming.

The Sarova Stanley really is a perfect place for a pampered and luxurious stay in Nairobi. My wife grew up in Nairobi and has returned after 54 years away. She wanted to show me, a first time visitor, the real Kenya. I was so impressed by the luxurious location for our stay. A most beautiful and traditional hotel with a fine history The food was so delicious and varied and we were looked after by the friendliest and most attentive staff. Our stay here was faultless. It was the icing on our Kenyan cake!

Everything. It was affordable, the bed was clean and comfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom had proper cold shower. I actually stayed on my first 2 nights in Nairobi, before I travelled to other cities across Kenya and Tanzania. And when I came back to Nairobi to spend my remaining 3 days there before leaving Kenya for good, I booked the hotel again because of my overall positive experience there. It's also in the centre of downtown Nairobi so finding transport and food was easy.

We enjoyed the Eagle Grill Bar. If you're flying out, this is a fab place to enjoy a last Tusker or 3! We stayed here on our way out of Kenya and preferred it to the very noisy bigger sister, Emara Ole Sereni we stayed in on the way into Kenya. Although the sister property is posher and more modern, this is a sweet, cheaper alternative and you'll get a better nights sleep to boot! Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Heaps of character, for an airport hotel.

Located in CBD but not noisy at all. Can access the city to explore by foot at any hour. A couple of excellent coffee shops near the hotel on Kimathi Street. Breakfast variety at the hotel was very good and the team visited tables in the morning to get feedback on the stay - that was actually nice We've stayed here 3 times in October as our connection point for our Safari, it was perfect and very convenient. I highly recommend it

Excellent gym with great views of Nairobi skyline and a working steam room and sauna. Great location in a quiet street in Westlands near plenty of restaurants and shopping malls. The spacious apartment had a washing machine/dryer which worked really well as did the microwave and oven. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary, crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils for a longer stay. Air-conditioned bedroom was a bonus.

Jamia Central Hotel is a wonderfully quiet and excellently located within walking distance of matatu stages (to Naivasha f.e.) but just outside the hectic areas. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located on second floor of a shopping center but very quiet. Nice and clean. Very close to a Naivas Supermarket (for some snacks as I arrived late) and close to City Market and easy access to CBD. Would stay here again.

Everything in the Hotel is exceptional. The staff, the rooms, the restaurant, the food, the pool, the view. I really enjoyed my time and am 100% sure I'll be back soon. The location is excellent if you wanna stay close to the Mall and not move too much around Nairobi. You will find everything you need there. This was probably my favorite hotel that I ever stayed at. The staff were so kind and helpful but not overbearing. The grounds are beautiful and it's quite nice to just walk around and check out the scenery. The restaurants are delicious - probably the best three meals that I've had so far in Kenya were at the hotel. I highly recommend staying here.
