The field of Neuroimmunology is expanding because of the growing interest in inflammation for many neurological diseases, the new immunotherapies and biomarkers available or being developed and the growth of new brain infections related with globalization or with the use of new immunotherapies. Thus, we are in the presence of an explosion of knowledge about the mechanisms of brain inflammation as well as new opportunities for intervening in neurological diseases.
The 10th ISNI Congress will be an excellent opportunity to realize the changes in the field and to envision new perspectives for basic and clinical research.
The local Organising Committee and the International Advisory Board are planning to set up a program containing lectures, workshops and technical demonstrations with a broad scope and the highest quality, focusing on new and promising technologies or providing feed-back from clinical observations to the lab and back. In addition, specific sessions and fellowships will be available in order to encourage the participation of young researchers.
Topics will include:
B cells and antibodies
Biomarkers
Brain blood barrier
Brain tumors and paraneoplastic syndromes
