This course is designed to address current advances in the field of breast imaging and interventions. Clinical indications, imaging techniques, and protocols evolve as information and technology disseminate throughout the field. Advances in digital mammography, ultrasound and MRI are impacting the way physicians diagnose, evaluate, and biopsy suspicious masses, and techniques to improve interpretation and patient assessment have become increasingly important to help physicians make intelligent cost-effective decisions for optimal breast cancer detection and management in a multimodality world. This course will target identified practice gaps through lectures by experts in the field, case studies to provide physicians with the opportunity to evaluate images with expert feedback, and Q&A sessions.
