This continuing medical education conference will focus on educating surgeons by featuring case studies, interactive audience discussion, live workshops, and product theaters in addition to traditional didactic lectures.
Founded in 2007, ICJR is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing orthopaedic surgeons with quality education delivered by leaders in orthopaedics. ICJR s mission is to revive and reinvent orthopaedic education, while creating a community of orthopaedic surgeons. To achieve this mission, ICJR delivers education via a multi-channel continuum of learning: ICJR`s annual live spring event brings surgeons together for face-to-face interaction, while its online offerings provide an opportunity for a continual exchange of ideas. ICJR`s founders, led by President & CEO, Dr. Norman Scott and Vice President, Dr. Arlen Hanssen, believe in supporting advances in orthopaedics, which is why all profits are redirected back into the community via philanthropic activities.
PURPOSEThis is a patient-centered conference for orthopaedic reconstructive surgeons, physician assistants (PA) and orthopaedic nurses. Over the course of 2 days, expert faculty will guide orthopaedic surgeons, PAs and nurses through in-depth, pivotal research and effective practices in hip and knee joint reconstruction.
OVERVIEWThe ICJR Spring 2010 meeting will provide surgeons with 2 full days of in-depth and relevant reconstructive surgery information in engaging formats. The program, chaired by Walter B. Beaver Jr., MD and Thomas K. Fehring, MD of the OrthoCarolina Hip & Knee Center will feature up to 20 ICJR faculty-led CME sessions. In between CME sessions, attendees have the opportunity to meet with sales representatives on the exhibit floor.
TARGET AUDIENCEThe program is being marketed to approximately 25,000 orthopaedic surgeons worldwide. We anticipate up to 150 highly active U.S. orthopaedic professionals will participate in this meeting.
