5th ICAN 2010: Pediatrics in General Practice.

Pediatric age group constitutes about one third of the world population, marinating their optimal health starting as early as in the premarital stage and continuing through pregnancy, neonatal period, infancy, childhood and adolescence have its repercussions not only on their well being, but on the future of the society as a whole. More over, understanding their patterns of health and disease is important for planning health and social policies and for monitoring changes occurring overtime.
In this Conference we will tackle various aspects of Pediatrics, from the nationwide screening program to common pediatric diseases like allergy that is a growing problem world wide, discussing as well a wide variety of neurological, endocrinal, urological, surgical and hematological diseases reaching to the rare genetic and congenital disorders trying to bring to you the most recent and most practical diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
