Changing demands on regional Air Forces has meant that the modernisation of their fleets must focus on the entire air power spectrum. Whilst strike and fighter capabilities are key to the futures of many regional Air Forces, other assets such as manned ISR platforms and strategic air lift capabilities play an important role in maintaining an influential and active Air Force.
With Asia in a transformational period there are many questions that need to be addressed for all regional players, as well as for those international players who have significant interests in the region.
