Description

Given the challenges and costs associated with mega and complex litigation, parties to the dispute will invariably seek ways to focus the issues and reduce costs. This is where mediation and issue resolution can make a huge difference to the ultimate outcome and expense of dispute resolution in the complex commercial and civil litigation field.

This practical, interactive workshop will offer you insights and strategies on how to use arbitration and mediation as a tool to manage and streamline your complex litigation files and deliver affordable results to your client. Using case studies and interactive exercises, you will learn about:

  • The varieties of mediation and arbitration processes
  • Recognizing the signs - which approach to use when
  • The stages, processes and tactics of arbitration and mediation
  • How arbitration and mediation differ from litigation
  • Common hurdles and how to get around them
  • Getting to good enough

The expert leaders will answer your questions and deliver valuable materials you can use long after the workshop has concluded.
