Being The Merchandise Mart, we know buildings. That is our core business. We are one of the largest building operators in the Chicago market and our parent company – Vornado Realty Trust – is one of the largest REITs in the United States. In this challenging economic and leasing environment, we are working hard to find strategies and solutions that can help us manage and operate our buildings more efficiently and effectively. Not only for our needs as owners but more importantly for the benefit of our tenants.
As a result, we are constantly looking for products, services, technologies and ideas from suppliers – our strategic partners – that can help us achieve these goals.
And we are not alone on this mission. Owners, managers and operators of all types of buildings have the same objectives.
To address these needs in Canada, our organization has been producing a series of very successful expositions and related conferences for over twenty years. They are held annually in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
We believe that the time is right to offer a similar informational and networking event in Chicago and to hold it at The Merchandise Mart.
Introducing Buildex Chicago. Where building owners and managers will meet strategic partners offering products, services, and technologies that can upgrade and improve the operation of all types of properties.
