Norway, as lead nation for the Defence Against Mortar Attacks (DAMA) initiative, is hosting the DAMA Symposium at the Bod Main Air Station (MAS) in Norway 1-2 December 2010. DAMA has been part of NATO`s Defence Against Terrorism (DAT) programme since 2005, and has enjoyed participation from 12 nations under the leadership of the Netherlands and Norway. For more information about the DAMA initiative, read the DAMA flyer. Major goals have successfully been achieved. This years`s symposium is planned to be the final event with Norway as lead nation.
