With the increasing demand placed on communications networks to deliver at a higher capacity, supplying faster more reliable services , fibre optics are fast replacing copper as the ultimate transport medium to support the convergence of voice, data and video communications. This five-day course will cover the fundamentals of fibre optic communications in access networks as well as the applications of FTTx technology, including convergence, and triple play services, and VAS to customers.
