Under the theme `Human Capital Strategies - The Difference Between Success and Failure`, this summit will take a detailed look at the role of HR in the current financial climate.

HR is still seen as detached from the core of an organisation; as something to be dealt with by the personnel, payroll or training departments, or simply as not my job. Even more surprising, some human resource professionals underestimate their own role, put themselves on the sidelines, and think of their jobs as transactional rather than transformational.
