The LRFD - Foundation Design Workshop is dedicated to all aspects of modern good practice in foundation design including:

• Current limit analysis methods for bearing capacity
• The importance of both the geological and geotechnical aspects of the ground conditions
• The various settlement analyses and their underlying assumptions and reliability
• Definition of factors of safety
• The design of piled foundations

The LRFD - Foundation Design Workshop brings together civil engineers, Structural engineers, construction department employees of provincial, federal and municipal governments, public works, engineers responsible for large commercial or institutional and industrial facilities who must deal with different types of foundations.
