Linked meetings - ICoN2 and the NCycle16 2011

The 2nd International Conference on Nitrification (ICoN2) and the 16th European Nitrogen Cycle meetings continue a tradition of bringing together investigators at all levels to discuss the most recent concepts in the nitrogen cycle.

Reports on the ecology, physiology, biochemistry,molecular genetics, genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics and evolution of nitrifiers, aerobic and anaerobic denitrifiers, ammonifiers, anammox bacteria and their roles in the nitrogen cycle will be presented and discussed.

Lectures, roundtable sessions and poster presentations will be used to encourage discussion.
