The Mumbai Anaesthesiology Society is the rechristened version of the NEMAA (North East Mumbai Anaesthesia Associations). Over the past decade, it has striven to make available better standards of Anaesthesia for routine and speciality practice along with anaesthesia catering to evolving surgical and interventional arenas. These goals are achieved through regular meetings and conferences, publications, workshops and other forms of interactions. In its new and bright reincarnation, the MAS promises all that and much more. With a brand new team to lead the movement and to serve the organization, surely we are in for exciting times.
