The INTERNATIONAL FLORICULTURE TRADE FAIR (IFTF), a new International Flower & Plant Expo in the Netherlands, will be held from Wednesday November 3 to Friday November 5. It will be the industry wide event serving all segments of the floriculture process, especially (exhibiting as well as visiting) growers, propagators, breeders and international trade. Uniting buyers and suppliers from each stage of the floriculture production cycle, the exhibition showcases live products, related dry floral products, trading, transportation, etc.

IFTF has found a home in Vijfhuizen, very close to the FloraHolland Flower Auction in Aalsmeer, in the Expo Haarlemmermeer , the former 2002 Floriade Hall designed and built as a state of the art Greenhouse. A venue that has 13.000 m exhibition space with an extension possibility of another 13.000 m , making it a total of 26.000 m available exhibition space.

During these exhibition DLG Benelux will organise the Mass retailing and the possibilities for the flower industry 2010 on 4 November. The following topics will be discussed during this conference:

  • Development in flowers sales supermarkets
  • Problems to solve by supplying flowers to supermarkets
