As the Government seeks to develop its strategy for delivering smart grids, this seminar will examine the opportunities and challenges associated with the future of the UK`s electricity network. Planned sessions assess the financial and technological requirements to transform the way power is generated, transmitted and consumed. Further discussion will also explore the prospects for a European Supergrid and consider the implications, and further opportunities, this may present for UK electricity.
