The PacINET 2011 conference is dedicated to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Pacific Islands and is divided into technical and non-technical streams. Topics include Users with Dissabilities, OLPC, Risk Management, Rural/Remote Telecommunications, ICT Policy, ICT for Development, Geographic Information Systems, e-Health, e-Government, New Media, VoIP and Convergence, Protocols and Standards, Networking and Routing, Internet Security, Open Source Systems, Database Systems, Computer Applications and Client-Server Computing.
