It has expanded since then to become one of the foremost user groups in the country, and today addresses all aspects of microscopy from instrument design and specimen preparation to digital image acquisition.
By holding regular meetings with invited speakers and trade stands we aim to facilitate contact, consultation and discussion between all our members who include instrument manufacturers and microscope users.

It is hoped the Meeting will have accreditation as previous years from both the Institute of Biomedical Science and the Royal College of Pathologists.
