Following the Government`s commitment to move away from a `centralised national programme` for IT towards a more localised model to ensure `a patient-centred NHS`, this seminar will assess the impact on NHS IT implementation. With programmes like Choose and Book and the Electronic Prescription Service up and running, and future programmes to be designed and administered on a local level, this seminar will look at the future role and make-up of the NHS IT system.
