Westminster Health Forum Keynote Seminar: Personal Health Budgets 2011

This seminar will examine the key issues surrounding personal health budgets in light of the ongoing trials and the Coalition Government`s renewed commitment to the scheme, as outlined in the recent White Paper Equity and excellence: Liberating the NHS. The seminar will seek to inform the discussion around personal health budgets prior to the evaluation report due in 2012, including issues surrounding implementation on a national scale. Delegates will discuss how accountability and standards can be upheld and how service users can get the most out of the scheme, drawing on international evidence and data from ongoing pilots and from social care.
