ACM SIGSIM Conference on Principles of Advanced Discrete Simulation (PADS 2026)

The ACM SIGSIM Conference on Principles of Advanced Discrete Simulation (PADS 2026) is dedicated to all aspects of simulation technology, including:

• Algorithms and methods for parallel or distributed simulation, including scheduling, synchronization, load balancing and memory management
• Advanced modeling techniques, including new modeling languages, reuse of models, spatial M&S and agent-based M&S
• Integration of simulation with other IT systems, methods, and developments including visual analytics, simulation based decision-making, simulation in the grid or in the cloud and intelligent support in M&S
• New simulation algorithms including adaptive algorithms, hybrid simulation approaches, GPU, and approximations, hybrid architecture acceleration and FPGA
• M&S applied to solve problems in difficult domains and methodological challenges arising from these applications including real-time and embedded simulation, online and symbiotic simulation and emulation of real systems
• Mechanisms for efficient design of experiments, including automatic simulation model generation and initialization, dynamic verification and validation of models
• Tools and techniques for interoperability of simulations, including service-oriented approaches and emerging standards
