eGov Global Exchange 2011

  • 20-24 Jun 2011
  • Marina Bay Sands (Sands Expo & Convention Centre), Singapore

Description

eGov Global Exchange 2011 will be held from 20 to 24 June 2011. Beyond efficient and effective e-Government practices, governments are currently focusing on opening government data to encourage new service creation and on building participatory relationships with citizens and businesses in e-Government initiatives. The 2011 programme will again bring together senior policy makers and practitioners from around the world to share thought leadership, latest trends and insights on e-Government. There will be a full-day eGov Forum on 20 June 2011 and other exciting programmes designed to enrich participants’ learning and facilitate mutual exchange on key developments in this dynamic sector.

Expect to hear about:

  • The emerging trends and challenges brought about by ICT beyond 2011
  • What’s next in e-Government, and where it will bring us in public administration and service delivery
  • Open Government, and if it has successfully fostered innovations and effectiveness in public service delivery
  • Web X.0 and social media, and if they are still the deal for encouraging citizen participation
  • How governments have benefited from alternatives in ICT sourcing models like cloud computing and open-source
