Mr Brad Moggeridge delivers an address for NAIDOC Week 2010.

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee.

NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life.

In celebration of NAIDOC week, CSIRO introduces an inaugural NAIDOC Week lecture.

Mr Brad Moggeridge, from CSIRO`s Water for a Healthy Country Flagship, delivers an address on this year`s NAIDOC Week theme - `Unsung heroes - closing the gap and leading the way`.
