Grid-Interop 2010 is designed for interoperability and standards leaders in the full breadth of Smart Grid from utilities to infrastructure to the consumer s arena. System architects, vendors of technologies and electric appliances, and related professionals will especially find Grid-Interop 2010 to be a critical venue to discover trends and direction of the immense opportunity that is the Smart Grid.

Grid-Interop 2010 attracts a broad audience within the technical community, it provides networking opportunities with key players from the semiconductor, energy utilities, software, cable, telecommunications and electricity consumer sectors providing the only technical conference on Smart Grid with this breadth.

Held in partnership with NIST and the GridWise Architecture Council, Grid-Interop 2010 has been held since 2007 to define the interoperability framework necessary for Smart Grid to flourish. This truly critical task for the success of Smart Grid was further highlighted with the formation of SGIP during Grid-Interop 2010 2009 in Denver.
