We thought it was very beautiful, especially where it was situated. There were more families and children than we expected, but we were fortunate to be in one of the bungalows so we spent most of our time at the adult pools and spa pool. Overall the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and the gift shops had some very nice items which we purchased. We had asked at the adventure center if we had the ability to go down to the water on our first day, and she said that We could not get close to the water as it was to Rocky. When we went for a kayaking adventure, we realized it was a path down to the water which is where you enter and in fact you can go down to the water area and swim or walk along the shoreline, so her information was in inaccurate.

Beautiful and relaxing with perfect weather.
Beautiful and relaxing with perfect weather. Also, close to so many other terrific destinations you can spend a day or a couple of hours venturing to. Instead of Rodeo Drive, I’d recommend checking out ‘The Grove’ near Beverly Hills. Redondo Beach and Manhattan beach are very close and offer a lot of food choices, entertainment and atmosphere. Highly recommend Abolone Cove Trails (parking is your only cost) and is just 5 minutes up the road from Terranea Resort (which I also recommend although it is expensive for an average budget). Palos Verdes is a quiet area that is centrally located to other amazing areas as well.

Except for the good scenery, there is nothing else. The restaurant's food tastes average, and all restaurants do not need to be booked. If you stay for one day, you will not be able to enjoy the hotel's restaurant, spa and other services. Moreover, the discrimination is serious. I booked a sea-view room one month in advance, and deliberately gave a bad room when processing it. It took 2 hours to 9 pm to tell that the sea-view room was gone and I could only choose a room without a view! ! ! ! ! !
I really liked that it was clean & that the folks working there (Jason and cleaning crew) we're very kind and friendly. The bed was also quite comfortable.
I also enjoyed the fact that it was quiet besides the fact that it is located next to a busy street.
It was also a very pleasant experience to dine @ the restaurant Think Steakhouse which seems to share the property with the hotel; the ambience was nice, food was tasty and... Happy hour prices!
The property location, on the cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes, cannot be beaten for scenery and relative quiet. The restaurants are all good, as was the Lobby Bar and Lounge. The Staff was excellent. Since we live close, we will return to enjoy those again.
The location was perfect. Very close to World Cruise Center were we needed to go. The hotel was decent. Great Steak house right there. Which was very good. Close to shopping center too. Was easy to get to as well.
It's a beautiful property. The Palos Verdes coast can be seen from almost everywhere on the property and the hotel is designed to make you feel you are both inside and outside all the time.
