Steamboat Springs is a superb ski resort with a wide variety of runs of all difficulties. With two large supermarkets in the town a few km away, self-catering in the well equipped kitchen is easy. The free shuttle to the base of the lifts could not be more convenient- it leaves from your door and drops you off at the base village a short walk to the lifts and services. Take in the lovely view over the valley while relaxing in the comfortable lounge / dining area.

The town of Steamboat is nice but expensive and not really set up for vegetarians except for Mexican/ Asian restaurants. Dinner for a family of four at a decent sit down place is $100 at least. It's easy to get around on public transportation and if you stay at a place that offers it's own shuttle the convenience of getting to the resort increases.
The ski resort is excellent and if you're coming for the slopes I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The mountain is not groomed well and the trails are not marked well. The lift staff need more supervision in some places as they are not attentive and not directing traffic during crowded times. The mountain needs a bathroom facility at the top of Sunshine, Sundown and new gondola lifts.

I liked the proximity to ski lifts walking with skis & in ski boots or snowboards. I loved unit had bathtubs & full kitchen, even if you didnt want to cook. Makes it nice for breakfast or could stop for lunch. I loved the jacuzzis. Unit beds were great! Could stand different comforters or new blankets. But as a rental & a landlord myself understand why they had what they have, easy to wash & reuse.

A very walkable city, and still with free mass transit if you want it. Lots of very good food options, and unlike the mountain itself, everything was open. The Mountain is pretty much completely shut down, with few restaurants or shops even open.

Great location for skiing. Not quite ski in / ski out, but a very short walk across the street. The unit was very clean and had an amazing kitchen, with any cooking options/appliances/utensils you would ever need. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing after a day of skiing. There were several restaurants just a short walk away, plus a bus stop a block from the place with frequent buses to/from downtown Steamboat Springs.
We ended up at the Bristol due to a broken rim on our motorcycle that took 3 days to take care of. The staff were exceptional and accommodating when we had to extend our stay. They were always friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and the hotel has a nostalgic feel with the decor. Excellent location downtown, easy walk to everything.
I can't thank Hailey and the staff enough for everything they did for us while we were there and I highly recommend this hotel.
Loved the shuttle services -made it so convenient and the rooms were clean - would love to see a cafe or something in the hotel to grab a small bite instead of having to leave everytime to go out and get something or even a small convenient store in the hotel would be great.
Breakfast was mediocre at best—some bread and bagels, no peanut butter, no fruit other than squishy oranges, and no herbal tea options. Not awful, but it’s the least appealing hotel breakfast I’d seen in a long time. Thank goodness they had oatmeal packets to go…
My wife and I loved all it!! We arrived it was a beautiful day we sat and relaxed by the pool the room was awesome had dinner, got up the next morning and had coffee by the fireplace of the beautiful entrance of the hotel staff were wonderful.
We visited town only for one night but location was still great. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rex’s American Grill Bar which is part of hotel was also perfect, do not leave hotel without trying their amazing dishes!
Location. There really are only three hotels left where you can walk everywhere in Steamboat Springs and stay in town. Everything else is on the mountain which was EMPTY and ppretty much shut down.
Great location in town near very good shops and restaurants. Express ski bus stops right across the street. Not a fancy hotel but very comfortable, with plenty of parking and very helpful staff.
The condo was well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Could take a free bus into Steamboat which picks up nearby.
The staff was amazing! I made a mistake in booking online and the staff helped me to correct it. I would 100% recommend this hotel and stay there again.
